ROYAL PINES HOTEL CHIBA

The hotel interior was spacious and clean. While it was a bit of a walk from Chiba Station, it wasn't too far, and what I liked most was having a convenience store and a supermarket nearby, which made shopping very convenient. The TV had a surprisingly good variety of channels, and I also loved that there was an open park right in front of the hotel.

The hotel room was pretty good. They even provided a complimentary bottle of water in the mini-fridge. It's located within a park square, and check-in is on the second floor. It's not far from the monorail station, but it's about a 10-minute walk to JR Chiba Station.

The room was a bit small, but it had everything I needed. I had a comfortable stay, and the service and breakfast were both good.

Great location, about a 10-minute walk from Chiba Station. The hotel just opened in 2025, so everything is brand new. The breakfast buffet has a good variety and is delicious. Highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of Chiba Central Park, very close to the Yoshikawa Park monorail station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chiba-Chuo Station. The room I had was only partially renovated, and the bathroom fixtures felt quite old-fashioned, though the bedding was decent. The room itself was pretty spacious, but not as large as stated on Trip.com; I'd estimate it to be around 20-22 square meters. It came with two single beds, two chairs, and a tea table. Dining options nearby are plentiful, but if you're looking for shopping, I'd recommend SOGO and BIC CAMERA near Chiba-Chuo Station for a wider selection. Breakfast is a buffet, costing 1980 JPY per person. It offers both Japanese and Western options, providing good value for money with a wide variety and tasty dishes. You can even try Chiba's local specialty, the Rakka Peanuts Monaka. Nearby attractions include Chiba Port, Inohana Castle Ruins, and Kisarazu Outlet Park. Getting to Makuhari Messe is also quite convenient from here.
