Best Western River North Hotel

The location was great and basic amenities were provided. The area around the hotel was quiet at night. The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear voices from other rooms, but it wasn't too bothersome. Overall, it was very comfortable.

This hotel boasts a prime downtown Chicago location, within walking distance to the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, and popular Instagrammable spots, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The free Wi-Fi is stable, and there's a well-equipped indoor pool and gym. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It offers fantastic value for money. Overall, it's quiet and safe with thoughtful service, making it perfect for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Chicago!

I stayed in downtown Chicago for a business trip. The hotel price was very reasonable, and I was highly satisfied given the cost. However, the only downside was the poor soundproofing due to it being an older building.

We only stayed one night at this hotel before flying out the next day. For short or emergency stays, it's fine. The room is comfortable, and breakfast is à la carte at the hotel restaurant, but they do have coffee available at the front desk. The elevator to access the rooms was dirty and dusty, and the bathroom was very basic. Check-in and check-out were quick. Only stay at the Best Western if the price is significantly lower than other options in River North.

Completely exceeded my low expectations. It's barely a two-star hotel by international standards, yet it was incredibly expensive and the room was tiny.
