The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel Chicago Loop

A comfortable and cozy experience. We initially booked a special offer room for two nights and ended up extending for another day. Upon arrival, a concierge cart delivered our luggage directly to the room. For dinner, we ordered two cold dishes at the bar and asked to warm them up in the microwave. The hotel lobby manager was very efficient; we chose a high-floor room, and the soundproofing and ventilation were excellent.

The location is a big plus. After the show at the Cadillac Theatre next door ended at 10 PM, it was so easy and safe to just walk right back to the hotel. The king room was a bit small, but it was well-organized and clean, perfectly adequate for a short stay. The uniquely designed, ornate ceiling light was a real eye-catcher, and the room was bright and airy. The dining perks were a nice touch too; we received a discount at the hotel restaurant. Overall, it was a very good stay.

The hotel is quite old; the things inside are worn and have a sense of history. Overall, it's okay, and the cleanliness is acceptable. The bedding is exceptionally comfortable; I'd like to buy a set for my home.
