Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the city center attractions 👍. The bathroom has shampoo, shower gel, etc., and the body lotion smells quite nice. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's no free drinking water 💦; it costs $3 per bottle. If you're a Hilton Diamond 💎, Gold, or Silver member, you get two free bottles daily 🆓, but unfortunately, I'm just a regular Hilton member. It was a bit noisy at night 🌃, and I felt the window soundproofing wasn't very good.

Location: The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's super convenient to get to, with a direct train from the airport right to the nearby station. Plus, there's a large shopping mall and plenty of restaurants just across the street. Cleanliness: The hotel maintains good hygiene standards. Facilities: Unlike hotels in China, you'll need to provide your own slippers, toiletries, and drinking water in the room.

I've never given a hotel a bad review before, but I have to for this one. The hygiene was just okay, and the bed design is definitely flawed. The bed frame under the mattress extends about 10 cm beyond the bed itself. There's a clear visual discrepancy, and you tend to overlook that protruding corner. Both my feet ended up bruised from bumping into it, and my left foot even developed a hematoma. Please see the video and photos for reference.

The hotel is located right in the city center, with a subway station just outside the entrance. A big bonus is the large supermarket right next door (as shown in the picture), which has everything you could possibly need, from groceries to daily necessities.

The room and facilities were great, and the subway station right downstairs was super convenient. However, I'm unsure about the cleanliness because I woke up with many red bumps the next day.
