The new enhancements to Hyatt Regency McCormick Place have touched all aspects of our guest’s experience. The final product offers a welcoming lobby, engaging check-in pods, renovated and redesigned meeting spaces, expanded outlet seating, and 1,258 brand new guest rooms. Our new 460-guestroom tower includes 12 studio style kings and two premium suites designed with a modern yet residential style. The expansion emphasized Hyatt Regency McCormick Place’s commitment to reducing our impact on the environment, incorporating intelligent HVAC into our guest rooms, a green roof and in dual recycling waste baskets in each guest room. The hotel receives all of it electricity through renewable Wind energy and is not only Green Key certified, but expects to receive a Silver LEED certification and has also received several recent awards, including the 2010 Good Earthkeeping Award for the State of Illinois. Perfect for large or small in-house meetings, the hotel has a total of 43,500 sq. feet of function space and 6,600 sq. feet of prefunction space; a 25,000-square-foot Conference Center featuring 23 breakouts and convenient connection to nearly 3 million square feet of first class meeting space at McCormick Place. Lastly, three new boardrooms and a new ballroom level, full-service Business Center have also been added.
