Super 8 by Wyndham Chico

BE AWARE: This is a three-story hotel with NO elevator. They don't notify you of that until you have already booked. So if you need an accessible room, you should look elsewhere. When checking in, we let them know that we need a ground-floor level room because we were not aware that there wasn't an elevator. They told us we had to request a handicap room when we did our booking, and there were no ground-floor rooms available. It wasn't until we threatened to cancel the booking that three ground-floor rooms magically became available. While we were getting everything straightened out, another man with mobility issues also raised the same concern. The lack of an elevator in a three-story hotel is something that should be disclosed before booking.

The room was stinky even though it was a non-smoking room. The sheets are old and the carpet needs to be replaced.

Had a good breakfast - had a waffle maker! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Fan worked, window cracked.

The room wasn’t very clean. Sticky syrup on the desk area. Black hair found in a few places. Remote control was really dirty, had to clean it.

The first room they wanted to put us in was dirty and it smelled the carpet had spots all over it the next room we got had no carpet tile floor still had a smell lifted the mattress up and there was a vape under it sheets had permanent stains. Never again it made motel 6 look good.

Checking in took an hour and cost me another dollar over what I had paid when I reserved the room . ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE !

Room and especially the bedding smelled like cigarettes.

The staff was super nice. The room was clean and they let me check in a little early
