Jianglu Yalugu Hotel

This cave hotel is quite famous, and the price is on the higher side. The views are very unique and definitely worth the money! The overall design is special, and the staff are all very attentive and make you feel very welcome. The pool water was a bit cold. The room we chose was quite spacious, and the terrace was also quite large. The light switches were poorly designed; it was either all on or all off. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the vent was blowing directly onto the bed. There are some small details that could be improved. The breakfast was quite good, and the hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a pristine natural environment.

This hotel is truly unique and intimate, perfectly blending in with the cliffs and caves, offering a hidden and quiet retreat. The staff are all incredibly patient, warm, and attentive, with most of them being local residents. They even provide thoughtful amenities like contact lens solution and disposable underwear for children. We stayed in the cave section, and while the room was a bit damp, which is to be expected with the local climate and cave environment, there were drying facilities available. Dinner was excellent with generous portions, and the breakfast selection was exquisite! It was an unforgettable experience for both us and our children!

The environment is lovely, very clean, and the views are beautiful. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the breakfast is so good it's served until 1 PM! The rooms are clean and tidy, and they thoughtfully provide fruit, drinks, and mosquito repellent.

The rock feature in the room was really unique, and the amenities were complete. They even delivered fresh fruit and plenty of snacks. The toilet and bathtub had clean disposable liners, which was a nice touch. The window faced a bamboo forest, offering a great view. The service was also excellent; our butler reminded us about breakfast and supper, and the complimentary travel photos they took were beautiful. The hotel itself is very picturesque, perfect for photos, and the pool looked stunning when lit up at night. Breakfast doesn't end until 1 PM, so you can sleep in without worrying about missing it – that's a huge plus! Overall, a fantastic experience!

Jianglu Yalugu offers an incredibly secluded and enchanting retreat! Tucked away amidst the bamboo forests and Danxia mountains of Chishui, its design, blending natural caves, is simply stunning. The rooms are spotless and elegant, with high-quality amenities. The cave pool and terrace boast breathtaking views, perfect for snapping amazing photos. The butler service is attentive and meticulous, and the breakfast is genuinely delicious. It's very close to Bing'an Ancient Town, providing a tranquil escape. The sound of the waterfall is wonderfully therapeutic. This was the most delightful stay of my trip to Guizhou – highly recommended!

First off, it's absolutely beautiful, especially the public areas. We stayed in the Bamboo Grove room, not the Rock room, and the Bamboo Grove room truly felt like an oxygen bar nestled in the mountains. Even getting ready, you're surrounded by bamboo, it felt like I could live longer if I stayed there for a few extra days. Secondly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. As soon as we arrived, a bellhop helped us with our luggage. The hotel grounds have a lot of uphill and downhill paths, and since the Bamboo Grove rooms don't have elevators, the bellhop carried our luggage all the way up. All the staff greeted us whenever they passed by, and the butler's online responses were very prompt. And finally, the sweet potato candy they gave us when we checked out was delicious. My only suggestions would be to improve the breakfast a bit and to add some railings or handrails along the path to the Bamboo Grove rooms, as it can get quite slippery when it rains. Other than that, there weren't any major issues, and it's definitely worth experiencing.

Overall: Would stay again (if returning to Chishui and no more interesting hotels are available); Transportation: Self-driving/chartered car/Didi booked a day in advance; walking distance, on-site activities; Best aspects: The hotel staff – no canned speeches, all the ladies were incredibly charming and enthusiastic, and thoughtful in every situation; + food, vegetables can be sweet; + breakfast served until 1:30 PM; Suggestions: Add mosquito patches to rooms; reduce single-use amenities.

The overall service was excellent; every staff member was warm and attentive (I've forgotten their names, unfortunately!). Both breakfast and dinner were great. The guesthouse's style is truly unique and distinctive, offering a blend of intriguing charm and serene tranquility. It's definitely worth a visit!
