Mon Ami Villa Chisinau (room 401, top floor) +Very good location, near to everything, grocery store, restaurants, cafés, main street "Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Boulevard". Safe area and some nice restaurants around. Bus number 30 from airport stops few minutes walk away (40min bus ride from airport cost 6 MDL or 25min taxi ride for around 8 euros/160 MDL). +Clean and big room. +Good and free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, safe box, air-condition. +Free water bottle (see pictures of mini bar and the prices). +Check-out time is 12 o'clock. +Basic breakfast included (see pictures of the breakfast). +Helpful and friendly staff. +24/7 open reception. -When doors from other floors are closed hard, the door to the room moves and makes noise. -No elevator. The reception is on floor 2, and this room is on floor 4, but it wasn't no issue for me. -No iron in the room (maybe reception have, forgot to ask). +/- You will hear ambulance sound everywhere in Chisinau, also from your room. Good value for the price, I recommend.

The hotel is a short walking distance from Stephen the Great Boulevard. There, you will find the main downtown area, with shops and restaurants, along with a Stephen the Great statue (and park), plus the Orthodox Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ and Triumph Arch. On the same road as the hotel, there are shops, restaurants, and a bank with an ATM. You’ll also find cafes and restaurants on the streets between the hotel and Stephen the Great Boulevard. The hotel does not have an elevator. Be ready to walk up to the lobby with your luggage. That being said, the young man working the front desk came down and carried my bag for me. My room was large and had everything I needed. The breakfast had enough options for most tastes. Given how close the hotel is to downtown, the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet.

I have stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it is very central and incredibly helpful and pleasant service. Good standard in Moldovan standards. There was a technical issue with the room, which the hotel could not be blamed for and how they handled this was very good and far above what one would expect. My price also included a simple but tasty breakfast. large rooms with both AC and fridge and TV with a good selection of Chanel. Good wifi. I can higly recommend this hotel.
