This is the worst place on the entire internet, bar none! On the first day of 2026, I'm sending you my first and only negative review so far. I don't know how the platform got a five-star rating? Today, I'll describe the current condition of this place in detail, hoping it will be helpful to future guests. Don't come here! You could get formaldehyde poisoning! The hotel is 7 kilometers from the airport, a taxi ride costs less than 2500 yen. It's not particularly convenient. It's more suitable for renting a car or driving yourself. Check-in is a self-service process involving a video call. The place is a wooden house with a pungent smell. The identity verification process is just a formality, a sham. The entire room is made of wood, with strong glue smells from the splicing. The wood itself is also very thick, causing my eyes to become red, stinging, and watery after only half an hour. I tried contacting customer service, but they didn't answer my calls or messages. I had no choice but to open the door to ventilate. Hokkaido is incredibly cold; it was the first time I'd ever slept wearing a hat and a down jacket. I called several times, leaving messages asking for blankets, but no one responded. Two hours later, I experienced a headache, a pungent odor, nausea, and severe eye redness. My family members traveling with me also experienced the same symptoms. We left a message for customer service, mentioning swollen and watery eyes upon waking, but instead of replying, they urged us to check out. The service was extremely poor; even if they noticed the situation, they should have at least inquired about it. The entire wooden house emitted a pungent smell after being heated, which was particularly harmful to the elderly and children. This prevented us from carrying out our planned activities the next day; we had some cold symptoms and had to choose another hotel to rest. Of all the hotels and guesthouses we've stayed at in Japan, this was the worst.

The room was spacious and I was able to park my car right in front of the room, which was great. However, the only downside was that I had to make a video call using the device at the reception desk when checking in and out.
