6 nights of quiet (off season) peace. The thing about a 5 star hotel is that it remains 5 star even when its 15% occupancy. (900 capcity here!) And that service is still maintained. I was well looked after as a solo traveller and had great conversations with the staff when they were able, which made me feel special. Granted, this hotel isn't an adults only, but does cater well for adults with various areas sectioned off, including a fabulous pool. However, screaming children's noise is obviously not screened by a sign and a rope! So if you are wanting a place with no noisy kids you ll need to look elsewhere. If you want a beach with sand then this probably isn't the resort for you either. The igneous rock is beautiful and the rip currents can be dangerous so approach with caution. The weather in mid-April is variable. I experienced swings of 22c during the day and 13c at night to 31c during the day and 25c at night, all in the space of 6 nights.... so bring a jumper for the evenings... but its 70% humity so don't be surprised if things feel a little damp. The staff are fabulous. All inclusive everything is included apart from some cocktails.... but this should suit most people unless you like a *****ni! A note about the clientel, mainly 65+, retired, but friendly and chatty if you are that way inclined. A mix of British and Germans. Not many young people, if you want that head to paphos old town, it ll be getting busier from.1st May (im assured). Choose a sea view room, hearing the ocean smash against the igneous rocks is a joyful symphony on the ears, providing you leave the sliding doors open. Which is possible as there aren't any mosquitos... (I usually get bitten alot). Housekeeping pop round of an evening leaving a chocolate and turndown the sheets.. excellent ! The themed restaurants are good. Although I'm not sure why I had to choose maximum 2 options from al la carte and no more. Coconut restaurant wasn't open when I was there (off season) so I missed out on that delight.... Roku, Cipro and Akranas ... were all very good. But the in the main Kirio is good (daily buffet), lots of variation the seafood salads are good and deserts delicious too. The grounds are beautiful, sun loungers around the pool and in the gardens with bali beds for that extra comfort. Waiters wander around so you can always grab a drink, so you don't have to lift a finger. I've travelled to over 53 countries and this is right up there with the best service I have recieved. So if you wanna be looked after in under 5hrs then head here... its been great Azia... thank you. Ill be back, and with the family next time. ;-)
