Holiday review So I’m not one for writing a gushing review but this holiday was an exception. I couldn’t recommend St George’s Spa and Hotel in Paphos enough. From the complimentary glass of sparkling wine at check in, followed by a bottle in our room, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms are modern and clean (no travel adapters needed in Cyprus, they use the uk 3-pin) and over the winter they ripped out all the baths and replaced them with walk in showers. We had a balcony with sea view which was standard with easyJet Holidays, and as it’s west facing you get the sun all day right up until it sets over the med. As all inclusives go things the best one we’ve stayed at. The selection for all 3 meals is great, with 4 on site al a carte restaurants to book once each during your stay. My favourite was the Asian. The seafood chow mein was incredible. There also snack bars dotted around the place along a pool bar (with swim up seats), the beach sunset bar, the cocktail bar, the wine bar and the patisserie cafe/bar. Also on site is a hairdressers, convenience store, diving centre and huge spa. But the best thing above all else?? Allocated sunbeds. It’s a game changer. We had a choice of a few between the pool and beach and then popped our names on a list to get a poolside one. 2 days later we got moved next to the pool. It’s such a fantastic idea and one every hotel should be doing. The evening entertainment was varied from bingo and karaoke to a fire show and a great Elvis impersonator. the Ents team work really hard and they really helped make our holiday a special one. Mimo and his team were amazing. So overall, an amazing hotel, great food and the other guests were so polite and chatty. Not only would I go back in a heart beat, I’d take friends too. A true gem worth trying.

A really lovely hotel where everything just seems easy and relaxed. We had a wonderful seaview room that was kept spotlessly clean. The food was good my favourite being the Italian and we loved the wine bar. The entertainment team Mimo Lucy and Anna all were very good at their job and kept us entertained during the day and night plus we really enjoyed the Fire Show and the Elvis tribute. All staff friendly and helpful in the bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and would hopefully return soon.

Overall not bad So hotel looked nice from outside and reception and grounds are well maintained . There are a few shops up hill from hotel including pharmacy. Supermarket and double decker coffee shop. Bus stop nearby for travel to harbour area etc On arrival if by coach you are welcomed with champagne, we arrived by taxi but not offered anything , but not a downer as drinks offered at hotel were more than reasonable. Our room was a standard twin with limited sea view , we won the lotto on room number ending in 1400 section , which led to start of confusion. Our room was on 1st floor second corridor which sounds easy but means when u leave lift u have no idea where ur room id as only lists 2300 on 1st floor and means walking around until u can find Second corridor . Room was clean and clean and cleaners did good job of tidying our room daily , soaps were restocked daily but milks for coffee was hit and miss. Water bottles were provided to us with note to say refill stations were in hotel and to refill bottles. Safe was free to use just needed to add a pin . We had slippers and robes but neither fitted us as too small . As it wasnt expected we skipped trying to get them changed but expect hotel would if asked. Hotel offers a pillow service again we didnt try as found provided pillows were enough. sun loungers are allocated on first day and yours for duration , you can change if available later if you want another location. We had a place near the beach and did find it quite nice , we supect others used them as found them with cups and cigarette butts on return from trips , but were alway vacant when we needed to use. Beach access was good and steps into water which was very useful , expected the beach and bar to be adults only private but this was also not the case , people was walking through not from hotel a walk through is open further up from beach but beach area was separate to this . This meant was nervous about stuff left as anyone could in theory take stuff walking through. On several occasions young children came from outside resort with local/other hotels families and used facility’s suspect the beach is open to public but screaming and rock throwing was unfortunate in adult only report. Food was buffet based and for omnivore it was great , my partner is a veggie and found it tuff going , Not labeled correctly or limited selections. Cocktails were similar pot luck mixing so same drink may taste different dependant on location. Two other restaurants were open as we were out of season by few days , we ate in route 66 , word to wise the cheese sticks in photos should a nice stack you get two lol. Coffee shop was a nice touch just wish they knew to tamper the coffee after grinding really. We didnt use the pool bars but there was infinity pool and swim bars Nice koi pond and few cats in grounds Sunset bar was nice and lovely sunset views Overall stay was not bad for what we got. as we was leaving noticed

Amazing hotel, very attentive staff with good food and drinks. The american restaurant is so good and all included! The cocktail bar and wine bar are also amazing. Would reccomend when you first arrive to order a pillow from the included pillow menu, I always struggle with hotel pillows but was able to order a memory foam on day one. Will definitely be returning.

Overall, a very good experience. Loved the allocation of sunbeds system and if you weren’t happy with your first allocation, they do their best to move you. No idea why the previous reviewer mentions people reserving beds, as the system makes this completely unnecessary. We were very happy with our beds on the sandy section on the sea front. Hotel is overall very clean, although room cleaning could be improved. Our floor wasn’t swept for the entire first week of our stay, witnessed by the dead beetle which remained under the dressing table area. Food in general good, especially the a la carte restaurants. However, we were disappointed with the lack of seafood. Entertainment in main outside area more like a 1960s holiday camp, with too much karaoke and bingo. Entertainment team friendly, but it got very wearing to hear the constant ‘I love my job’ from the guy. The live music in the cocktail bar was much better though. Couple of points to mention. The sunbed area in front of the sea needs to be swept and cleaned on a regular basis to remove old cigarette ends, bottle tops and other rubbish. If entering the sea don’t be fooled into using the ladder next to the beach bar. This takes you down into possibly the rockiest part of the beach. You are better off walking straight out from the beach following the orange buoys, where it is much flatter. You will need beach shoes though. Be aware that most of the rooms have locked interconnecting doors and at times it was possible to hear everything from the adjoining room.

Just got back from a stay at this hotel, was so sad to leave. Everything in this hotel was perfect, from the quality of the food which was never ending 5star. The cleanliness of rooms hotel pools was also 5star. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Always greeted with a smile and a chat. Different restaurants to eat at. Please don’t do anything different already looking to book again. Well done all .

What an amazing all inclusive hotel experience !! 40 min transfer Quick check in Eat and drink in various bars and eateries from 7.30 till midnight you’re never very far from one of them. Variety /quality of food is excellent as are the drinks. Rooms have all you need, enough storage, fridge, kettle , safe. 2 bottles of water which you fill up at various taps when you need. Plugs are 3pin so no adapter. Towels are changed regularly. housekeeping does a good job. Sun beds are allocated on arrival, works well. If you not happy with position put yourself on list and pool attendants will try their best to accommodate you, they are very helpful. Entertainment team work hard, come round let you know what’s going on but not in your face all very friendly. Elvis tribute was our favourite evening! Entrance to sea isn’t easy, deffo need beach shoes to help on rocks but it is manageable. You have to remember this is public beach not hotel responsibility. There’s a couple of bars/restaurants a supermarket and bustop in walking distance 5 minutes. Hotel will call taxi for you ‘Stevie’s’ get return price pay at destination just call when you want pick up works well. The overall ambiance of this hotel is second to none , we were 6 ladies in our early (very early!) Sixties, there was a mix of ages and I think most people were happy. If you want a relaxing holiday in a classy hotel with good food and drink, friendly helpful people making this happen for you then what you waiting for? Just book you won’t be disappointed. Thank you all at St George’s, don’t ever change you’ve got it about right!!

The only excellent thing about St George beach resort and spa is Olympia and her cocktails. I loved spending my days at the bar with her and gaining a new best friend, I also watched people come from different ends of the resort just for her drinks, so they really do speak for themselves!! If you are visiting this resort I recommend going only for Olympia’s vibes and her drinks

Overall, this hotel was pretty good. The choice of 4 specialty restaurants was very impressive and the food therein was great. Main restaurant not so good, though. The wine bar and choices of wines was great as was the Boulevard Coffee Bar. Sunbed allocation was a great idea and could be taken up by other hotels. So, why only 4 stars I hear you ask!! Quite simply, the evening outside entertainment wasn't suitable to most of the clients. Loud music, shouty DJ, more suitable to a younger crowd and, although it was meant to stop at 11.00, trust me, it didn't. Unfortunately, we had a room overlooking "party central" so a relaxed evening on the balcony was out of the question.
