Country Inn & Suites by Radisson properties in Chongqing

The hotel was very clean, no strange odors, and they even provided thoughtful slippers – not the disposable kind, which I really appreciated. I especially loved the scent of the hotel's shower gel; it's perfect for Chongqing's weather and doesn't dry out your skin. The location is excellent, with many places within walking distance. The hotel entrance isn't on a busy street, so it's quiet and easy to get a taxi or Didi. The staff were very attentive, always ready to answer questions, and incredibly friendly. The hotel also has a laundry room for guests, so washing and drying clothes isn't an issue. I met many Malaysian and Singaporean travelers there too. If I visit Chongqing again, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson will definitely be my top choice!

What an absolutely fantastic vacation experience! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance without being intrusive. We had a last-minute request to switch to a room with a better view, and the staff coordinated it for us incredibly quickly and efficiently. The room's view was absolutely breathtaking; enjoying the night scenery with my partner was so delightful. Highly recommend!

I requested a high-floor room when booking, but since I arrived late, none were available. The front desk promised I could switch to a high floor the next day. The location is undeniably great, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby. However, the bathroom door is quite heavy, and my child almost got their hand caught a few times. When checking out, I couldn't find my room card anywhere, even though I knew it was in the room since I hadn't left since checking in. Because I was moving to another hotel, I had to pay a 20 RMB replacement fee. I asked the front desk to contact me if they found it during cleaning, but I never heard back.

The view from the window was expansive; opening the curtains revealed the street view, which was especially beautiful at night when the lights were on.

The facilities at the Ascott Hotel are truly impressive. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, and a mattress that was just right – not too firm, not too soft. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, with plenty of hot water and strong water pressure, making for a really comfortable shower. The air conditioning was quiet and cooled/heated quickly. The in-room Wi-Fi was stable, the TV picture was clear, and the lighting was soft. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The facilities are well-maintained and don't feel old at all.
