First Inn (Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport Branch)

The room was advertised as 40-50 square meters, but it was actually tiny, probably around 10 square meters. The floor was sticky and yellowish, and the ceiling was moldy. It looked nothing like the pictures on social media, which made it seem really nice but it was actually quite bad.

Pros: Environment: Plenty of dining options nearby, convenient parking. Cleanliness: White bedding in the room. Service: Free coffee in the morning, purified water dispenser at the front desk. Facilities: Most basic amenities are available. Cons: Environment: Located in a concentrated office building area, with a complex mix of people and many hotels. Cleanliness: Some areas of the room were not cleaned thoroughly, there were large American cockroaches, and the elevator and underground parking were quite dirty.

The Xiaodu smart speaker controls the room's curtains, TV, lights, and air conditioning. The room was clean and tidy, with a nice design. I've been to this hotel many times near Jiangbei Airport, and it's the best value for money. Despite being new, there's no formaldehyde smell. Other nice hotels like this are in Bishan and Dazu, starting at around 300.

It's very close to Jiangbei Airport's Terminal 2. The rooms offer good value for money, with newer facilities and strategically placed amenities. The twin rooms are quite spacious (we booked two adjacent rooms on the 19th floor, and one was larger). There are many restaurants downstairs, and Wuyue Plaza is also nearby. Taxis to the airport are easy to get, just downstairs, and the hotel will reimburse them even at 4 or 5 in the morning. Some downsides include a door sensor light that automatically turns on every ten minutes at night, even when no one is around. The bathroom floor is slippery due to water damage, the window is low and easy to bump your head on, and the door peephole is loose.

The hotel environment is really nice, and the front desk lady was incredibly helpful. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at the hotel in the early hours. The hotel even reimbursed our taxi fare. Due to location issues, the driver couldn't find the hotel, but when we contacted the hotel staff, they were incredibly patient and friendly. They worried we couldn't find it, and they kept us informed by phone throughout the entire process. They also reminded us to be careful and not be afraid at night, and they kept calling to ensure we arrived safely. It was absolutely amazing! The cleaning lady was also very friendly. When I asked for a toilet seat, she said I could take it and come back for more. It was really nice!

The warm greeting from the front desk upon arrival instantly put our minds at ease. They weren't just following a process; they treated us like friends. ⚡ Efficient Response: We encountered a minor issue during our stay (low water pressure at night), so we reported it just to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised! The issue was resolved incredibly quickly! The staff responded immediately, patiently communicating with us, and resolved it efficiently and successfully within minutes, with absolutely no delays. 🤝 Chongqing Hospitality: What's most unforgettable is the overwhelming "Chongqing hospitality" the staff exuded! Their enthusiasm wasn't superficial; it was genuine and proactive. Whether offering local food recommendations, introducing attractions, or chatting about Chongqing's local culture, they were full of genuine energy and enthusiasm. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt the unique warmth and friendliness of Chongqing people, and our mood was incredibly positive! In short, this hotel was impeccable, from its location (close to the airport and with reimbursed transportation), cleanliness (very clean), to the quality of service (excellent attitude and quick response). It's an ideal choice for business or leisure travel, and I highly recommend it! This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Chongqing!
