Jianguo HIDDEN Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Area Hong Ya Dong)

Huge thanks to the hotel for their warm service! The room was spotless, and they were especially attentive to guests with children, which was really thoughtful. The location is super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, Chaotianmen, Baixiangju, and the Yangtze River Cableway. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and well-maintained, and the overall environment was great! The hotel is conveniently located close to Chaotianmen, Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong, making it a fantastic choice!

The room was spacious and the view was great. We stayed for 2 nights with our kid. Breakfast was just okay. The room decor felt like a budget hotel. It would have been better if there was a wardrobe, fridge, and a safe.

Choosing this hotel for my first trip to Chongqing was a brilliant decision! The hotel's style is exactly what I like – simple with a touch of Chinese flair. Everything feels new, the rooms are spacious, and the layout is very well-designed. It's just a short walk from the subway station, and the hotel has two entrances. The side entrance leads to a street full of eateries, and the small noodle shop right across from that entrance serves up delicious breakfast. A quick turn to the left and you're above Hongyadong, and in just a couple of hundred meters, you can reach Qiansimen Bridge for some amazing night views. Turn right out of the main entrance and head straight, and you'll find Jiefangbei (Liberation Monument) – you can almost see it from the hotel if you have good eyesight. It feels like all the attractions around Jiefangbei are clustered around the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. My only minor complaint is that there's no coffee available in the 10th-floor lobby, which was a bit disappointing.

The breakfast is really affordable, great value for money at only 58 yuan per person, and there's a wide variety of dishes. The room temperature was just right even without the AC on. There's a dryer for laundry, which is super convenient. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. Highly recommend!

As an employee of Jianguo Hotels, I felt reassured choosing to stay here. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the metro station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Taxis are also readily available right outside. The front desk staff were very welcoming, always greeting me politely with a warm tone and proactively asking if I needed any assistance. The hotel facilities are very new, the room had no strange odors, and the housekeeping was meticulous. During the day, if you need laundry done, you can drop it off at the front desk, and they'll wash and deliver it back to your room, even calling to notify you when it's placed. However, at night, you'll need to do your own laundry, as there are fewer staff on the night shift, and there's a notice posted in the laundry room regarding this. There's a hotpot restaurant called 'FangKongDong Hotpot' next to the hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it – it's overpriced and not very tasty.

The location is fantastic, right at Exit 6 of Xiaoshizi Metro Station. Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, Luohan Temple, and other attractions are all within walking distance. It's also just one metro stop to Longmenhao and Xiaohao Old Street. Downstairs, there are countless convenience stores and snack stalls. Li Ruotao Yogurt is directly across the street, so you can order, head back to the hotel to relax, and then pick it up later. The room was very clean, had a smart assistant (Xiao Du), and a robot delivered food. All the staff were incredibly polite.

The environment is clean and hygienic, the rooms are comfortable, and the transportation is very convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave. The Xiaoshizi subway station is also nearby, only a few hundred meters away. The staff have a good service attitude.
