Chongqing Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street MADISON Hotel

The hotel was wonderful with a lovely ambiance. Both the room and the bed were spacious, and the breakfast deserves a special shout-out for its great variety. The location is also fantastic—Jiefangbei and Shibati are basically within walking distance, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The only downside was a persistent smell in the bathroom that wouldn't go away. Other than that, everything was a 10/10.

This hotel is incredibly close to Jiefangbei, Shibat梯 (Shibati Old Street), and the Yangtze River Cableway. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms facing the street even offer river views. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. The hotel, opened in 2026, features modern facilities and cozy room decor. It was a very satisfying stay.

We stayed for three nights with elderly family members and children. The hotel has a great location, new facilities, is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. The service was also good, and requests were responded to very promptly. Highly recommend! I forgot to take photos of the hotel. 😓

Everything was great. It's within walking distance to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Chaotianmen, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's definitely one of the must-stay hotels for a road trip to Chongqing. The only downside is that parking costs extra.

Overall, the hotel room was good, but the hygiene could be improved. Every time the cleaning staff tidied the room, we'd find the used cups unwashed, and sometimes they'd forget to provide new toothpaste. The soundproofing was okay; you could hear guests talking loudly in the hallway. However, the location was great. It's close enough to walk to Bayi Road Food Street and Jiefangbei, with plenty of good food options nearby. Jiaochangkou Metro Station is also only about a 10-minute walk away.

This was my first time staying at the Parkview Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience! The service was incredibly warm and attentive. I was so happy to get a free upgrade to a deluxe twin room. The location is excellent. I'll definitely choose Parkview again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Overall, it was a good experience. Since it's newly opened, everything from the rooms and facilities to the common areas felt very new and smelled pleasant. The room was spacious with two windows, so ventilation and natural light were excellent. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and all the toiletries, including body lotion and hand soap, were provided as a set. The restaurant was quite large, probably accommodating over 100 people at once, and offered a wide variety of dishes, making it suitable for teams, families, and couples traveling together.
