Mercure Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei

The hotel environment is excellent, and the breakfast is abundant. They even upgraded our room! The service is very good, and most importantly, the location is fantastic. Downstairs, there's a whole food street, and it's in the Jiefangbei business district, very close to the light rail station – just a few minutes' walk! I'll definitely choose to stay here again!

The hotel's location is great, close to the subway station and a food street, so dining and entertainment are very convenient. The hotel environment is good. I stayed on the 33rd floor this time, offering an expansive view. While there can be a wait for the elevator during peak hours, it's still acceptable.

The hotel is conveniently located in Jiefangbei, making it easy to get around. It's just a short walk to the monument and also quite close to the metro station. Overall, it's very convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation.

Extremely satisfied! We got upgraded to a 1.5m twin-bed room, which was so much more comfortable with the kids. A big thank you to the concierge, their smile was so warm. There's a laundry room, you can either do it yourself or have the staff take care of it, and it'll be ready the next morning. It's incredibly convenient to have a laundry room, especially in summer when you change clothes often.

The front desk staff thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits and afternoon tea. There's a laundry room with wash and delivery service, and parking available on basement level two. The location is very convenient, just a few dozen meters from Jiefangbei, and there's a food street right downstairs. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, so I've included some pictures of the beautiful surroundings instead.

Located right at the entrance of Bayi Delicious Street in Jiefangbei, the location is super convenient. I was a bit worried when I first saw the front desk, but once I got into the room, all my concerns vanished. I booked a double bed, and they gave me a complimentary upgrade to a 1.5m double bed, which was very comfortable. For rooms in the city center, I'd definitely recommend getting a higher floor if possible. Lower floors tend to have some noise. We booked two rooms, one on the 29th floor and one on the 33rd. The 33rd-floor room was noticeably much quieter, and the view outside the window was also better. The breakfast selection was pretty good too, with both Chinese and Western options.
