Marriott Executive Apartments Chongqing

I really like the room layout. I always stay at this hotel, but for the past few years, there's been no milk for breakfast, and you have to wait for eggs. Otherwise, everything else is good; the service and environment are excellent, haha.

Great location, comfortable and clean rooms. Just downstairs is Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. It's a 15-minute walk to Hongyadong and 10 minutes to Shibati. You can easily walk to all the popular spots in Chongqing.

The location is fantastic, very close to Jiefangbei, and there are tons of great food options nearby. The overall service was very attentive, and parking was convenient. The only downside is that you have to go down yourself to pick up takeout orders.

The room was quite spacious. I arrived at the hotel very late after a JJ Lin concert on the weekend. As soon as I walked in, there was a musty smell. After showering, I just wanted to get some rest, but the air conditioning wasn't cooling at all. I managed to get through the night. The next day, I called to say the AC wasn't working and asked to change rooms, but they said I couldn't and offered to send a fan instead. Obviously, that was a joke and unacceptable. After I insisted, they finally moved me to a different room, where the AC cooling was much better, although the musty smell was still present. Since I was only staying two nights, I didn't bother looking for another hotel. I won't be staying here again. While the location is decent, there are many better hotel options in this price range nearby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, much appreciated! The location is super convenient, within walking distance to major attractions like Jiefangbei, Shibati, and Hongyadong. However, the hotel seems a bit dated; there aren't even any USB charging ports. Both the room and the lobby had a musty smell. Also, when I checked in, there was hair on the sofa and at the sink.

The location is fantastic, right on Jiefangbei Walking Street. It's surprisingly quiet at night, and you get a beautiful view of the bustling city lights. I was lucky enough to get an upgraded suite, which was fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer, stove, and microwave. It's perfect for a family trip; for a solo business traveler like myself, it felt a bit much. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
