Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing

The Hyatt Hotel is conveniently located next to Jiefangbei and Bayi Food Street, with Hongyadong, Kuai Zi Lou Art Museum, and the Yangtze River Cableway all within walking distance. The Executive Floor offers excellent value for money and service. The food quality at the Executive Club's Happy Hour from 6 PM to 8 PM on the 37th floor is outstanding, as is the breakfast at the 5th-floor restaurant! The Duty Manager and bellhops made us feel incredibly welcome. We stayed for four days and three nights and genuinely didn't want to leave! (When we checked in, we were told the air conditioning wasn't on due to the season, and it was uncomfortably hot in our assigned room. We contacted Ctrip to switch hotels and were moved to a larger room on the shaded side. Big thanks to Ctrip!)

The hotel is a 1-minute walk from Jiefangbei. The room was very clean and tidy, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. Service was quick and thoughtful. There's even a free night tour bus that takes you directly to Diamond Plaza where we saw a stunning night view.

This hotel is absolutely at the heart of Chongqing's Jiefangbei, just a short walk from Bayi Street. The area is lively at night with stunning views. As a Hyatt, the brand quality is consistently high, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. Staying here, you can really feel the strong international vibe, and the guests are generally very well-mannered. The room layout and design are very practical and comfortable. My only minor complaints are that the room size is a bit small and the breakfast price is a little high. However, overall, the value for money is excellent, and the fantastic location adds so much to its appeal. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chongqing!

We brought our child to Chongqing, and while the hotel's location was decent, our actual stay was terrible. The air conditioning in the room was practically useless; my child was drenched in sweat while sleeping. As adults, we could put up with it, but then in the afternoon, construction suddenly started on one of the hotel floors, waking our baby from her nap. There was no written notice from the hotel, nor any phone notification. Our child burst into tears after being woken up. We called the front desk, and they responded quickly, but it didn't really help the situation. All in all, there are many hotel options in Chongqing, and this one will definitely be the first to be crossed off our list next time.

The location is excellent, right by Jiefangbei and very close to Linjiangmen subway station. The hotel is clean, the service is attentive, and the facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast is also delicious and plentiful. You can easily walk to attractions like Hongyadong from here.

The room was a bit small, but the lobby environment and the shuttle bus staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of foreigners around. The front desk was sometimes very busy. The location is excellent, right in the city center. No robot food delivery.

Overall, it was very good. It's quiet and the service is great. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast 🍳 is plentiful. I would choose to stay here again!

The hotel's location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively upgraded our room. However, when we entered the room, we found it to be quite basic (to put it nicely, it was minimalist, or even spartan). We even joked that it was on par with a Ji Hotel. Breakfast, however, was up to standard for a five-star hotel. What truly stood out was the exceptional quality of the staff. Their service consciousness was remarkable. From the moment we entered, they helped with our luggage. At breakfast, I accidentally spilled some noodle soup, and a server quickly noticed and immediately started cleaning it up, with their first concern being whether I had stained my clothes. The overall service felt genuinely warm and attentive.
