Let's talk about the downsides first. The elevator was under construction and they were rushing to finish it, so definitely keep that in mind before booking. I went to bed late and was woken up by construction noise before 9 AM the next morning. I called the front desk, and they claimed they had informed guests upon check-in, but I guess I was one of the 'lucky' ones who wasn't told. If you're an early bird, this might not bother you. I didn't actually stay in the room type I booked; I paid an extra fee at the hotel to upgrade. Since I had luggage and didn't want the hassle of moving, I stayed for two nights, but I was out of there as soon as it was daylight on the second day. If you can't get a good night's sleep at a hotel, nothing else really matters.

The decor style is really nice. A friend recommended this hotel and spoke highly of it, and now that I'm here, I can see why it's so good. The transportation is very convenient, there are lots of food options downstairs, and it's quite close to Beicheng Tianjie.
