Wow! The hotel's design embraces a Republic of China era aesthetic. The moment you step in, you're greeted by a vintage, comfortable, and calming atmosphere. The service was incredibly warm, gentle, and attentive. Knowing we'd be out exploring, they even gave us a small bag (I absolutely loved it – so practical!). The staff were also super polite! My positive impression grew significantly even before seeing the room. As someone who values these thoughtful touches, their attentiveness truly warmed my heart. Once inside, the room was just as comfortable, clean, and tidy. Even the housekeeping team was incredibly thoughtful! Despite my birthday having already passed, I received a surprise birthday treat, clearly noted from my ID upon check-in. After a long, tiring day of sightseeing, I was incredibly surprised and absolutely thrilled to open my door and find a gift 🎁! And the birthday card was purely hand-drawn! It truly showed the careful and heartfelt dedication of Atour. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I absolutely loved it. If I ever return to this area, I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is set in an old building, but the service and quality are still up to Atour's usual excellent standards. The Republican-era architecture is full of charm. The breakfast Xiaomian was delicious. The surroundings are pleasant, and it's also very conveniently located.

The hotel is beautiful, boasting a charming, antique Republican-era style. The rooms are spotless, and the bathrooms feature a convenient wet/dry separation. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the staff were exceptionally friendly! A unique perk is the free Qipao rental for stunning travel photos. The Chongqing noodles and hotpot right outside the hotel are delicious and offer great value. It truly gives you the illusion of stepping into a peaceful and tranquil bygone era.

This is a very unique hotel with excellent service, facilities, cleanliness, and a great overall environment. It's less than a 10-minute walk to Shibati. Breakfast was decent. The front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has its own parking lot. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing. It offers great value for money.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from both Shibati and Jiefangbei. The rooms themselves are full of character, boasting a distinct Minguo-era nostalgic vibe, which makes them perfect for capturing memorable photos. The craziest experience I've ever had. I returned to the hotel after 1 AM and finally fell asleep around 3 AM. Then, at 9 AM, someone knocked on my door. I asked who it was, received no response, and then they just opened the door and walked right in!?! I'll let you be the judge – they claimed it was a new staff member who had gone to the wrong floor and was meant to clean. You wouldn't even experience such a basic, unacceptable mistake from staff at a guesthouse costing only 200-300 RMB! The hotel is Republic of China style, but the exterior looks very old. Over 600 RMB a night is absolutely not worth it! You'd be much better off booking a place on Nanbin Road!

The hotel was excellent! They offer a free Qipao rental service, and the hotel's decor is incredibly photogenic, making it perfect for taking pictures. My child absolutely loved it. I had forgotten that I was an Atour member and had booked through Ctrip, but after the hotel staff looked up my details, I was still able to enjoy my member benefits. The overall experience was truly fantastic!

This Atour hotel is quite special. It's housed in a beautifully converted building that was once the offices of the Chongqing Daily, and notably, it's the only property in the Atour chain to feature a Republic of China (ROC) era design. The location is excellent, very close to all the tourist spots. The kids absolutely loved the family room, especially the little tent it came with. Complimentary fresh fruit was delivered to our room daily, and breakfast was also very satisfying. Unlike the typical high-rise hotels in Chongqing, I believe this standalone property is a superb choice for families traveling with children.

We were offered complimentary iced jelly upon arrival, and the late-night congee was a thoughtful touch, especially for someone like me who avoids spicy food. The hotel itself is quite good, though the room was a bit cramped and the lighting felt too dim. The location is also very convenient for sightseeing. A short walk to the left, followed by an elevator ride, takes you directly to Jiefangbei. To the right, another short walk leads to Shibatang.

Facilities: Atour's facilities never disappoint. I particularly enjoyed the laundry room, gym, and the complimentary qipao rental. Cleanliness: Very clean. The cleaning staff were diligent. Environment: The location near Jiefangbei makes it very convenient for visiting various attractions. The overall environment was pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. Service: When we encountered an issue with our room, the staff promptly arranged a solution, and it was handled smoothly. The front desk staff were also pleasant. However, we had booked four rooms, and upon our arrival at 4:00 PM on the first day, the front desk informed us that two of our rooms were not yet clean and wouldn't be ready until 6:00 PM. They explained this was due to previous guests, who were members, being granted a late check-out. This really shouldn't happen! How can they delay new guests' check-in by prioritizing late check-outs? Our rooms should have been available by 2:00 PM, but we were told we'd have to wait until 6:00 PM. They even tried to upsell us on upgrading our rooms. This is definitely something the hotel needs to improve. Ultimately, the front desk staff did manage to resolve the situation, and the remainder of our stay was pleasant. Upon departure, they even offered us a complimentary souvenir, which helped compensate for the initial hiccup. Despite this, I would still choose to stay at Atour Hotel again.

This was my first time staying at an Atour hotel, and I found it to offer excellent value for money. I really loved the Republic of China era decor, and they even provide qipaos for guests to try on for free. Most importantly, I was thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff provided wonderful service, I received a complimentary room upgrade, the cleanliness was superb, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options too. It's conveniently located for getting around by taxi, and both Jiefangbei and Shibati are within easy walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Chongqing.
