It was a little hard to find, but they were so helpful on trip.com message app to help me locate it. They sent pictures and helped me find it. It is called "Wells Apartment" instead of "Wells Hotel". I got a few rooms. The first room had flickering lights and they tried to help me fix it but gave me a new room. The second room was nice but neighbors were loud, so they gave me a third room. I thought half the lights were not working but it was a style because a fourth one was the same. The staff were really nice. They give you detergent to use (they are little flower detergent packs) for the washing machine that was in the restroom. The staff adds you on WeChat so you can message them if you have any problem and they WeChat automatically translates to Chinese for them. The front desk staff replies immediately. They will clean and do room service if you ask them before 12pm, but it was hot, so I often left my room at 2-3pm. I stayed for 11 nights.
I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are huge. The TV is nice and plays movies for five minutes. If you want unlimited movies, you can pay 35 RMB which is $7 Canadian. I often ordered ******* and had food delivery. I had to figure that out. It delivered to my room. I also used Taobao and it delivered to a nearby storage space at a convenience store. Some deliveries showed up at the front desk on the main floor, which happens to be the 7th floor.
Staff were always so nice. THe security of the building is often sleeping, haha, and the convenience store staff is 24 hours. One guy plays video games on his phone or is sleeping late at night, which is normal. THey are very trusting and friendly. The hotel is near Eling Station. 3 minute walk, so it is convenient. It is affordable and prices are great. Great for long time stays.
Room was huge, clean, artistic inside. THere were paintings, artistic figures, and king sized bed that was clean. Dehumidifier, decent view, refills of water (2 bottles) everyday, refrigerator behind one of the desks. My shower was in the same room as the toilet. In China, put your toilet paper in the garbage can after using. Flushign the thick paper will clog. The staff are very helpful. The cleaning lady empties the garbage every day and replaces the toilet paper, changes towels, gives new water, and gives new toothbrushes. IT was such a pleasant stay and I recommend it a lot. I liked it so much that I stayed. THe air conditioning was very comfortable. I thinkt he first room I was at did not have the best air con but this one was great and it was okay to leave the air con on all day.
I do not know what else to say but I recommend it. Even if you do not speak Chinese, messaging them on WeChat anytime will have them reply instantly and help you with any of your concerns.
