Even though my room didn't directly face the confluence of the two rivers, the view was still incredibly expansive. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could see the scattered buildings of the Yuzhong Peninsula and the wide river. By day, it was a city panorama; at night, with the lights on, the night view across the river was like a sparkling carpet of stars – so therapeutic to watch from bed. While it wasn't the most iconic 'corner' view, this sense of spaciousness was equally satisfying.

If you get tired, you can always head back to the room for a rest before heading out again in the evening to see the night views.
