Chongqing Ashan River View Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles Square Branch)

Booked a 1.8m double bed room with my family, and the front desk arranged a 40th-floor river view room for us. The scenery was absolutely beautiful!! 👍👍 The cleaning staff did an excellent job every day, keeping the room spotless!! My family was very satisfied!! A truly wonderful experience!! I highly recommend the Yashan High-Rise River View Hotel when visiting Chongqing!! We'll definitely be back!! 💛💛💛💛

The hotel reception is on the 21st floor, and for rooms above the 30th floor, you have to switch elevators. I stayed on the 34th floor. After checking in and getting my key on the 21st floor, I took the elevator to the 30th floor, then transferred to another elevator to go up to the 34th floor. Going to the laundry room was even more complicated. The laundry room is on the 28th floor. First, I had to go from the 34th floor down to the 30th floor, then switch elevators to go to the 21st floor, and then from the 21st floor, switch elevators again to go up to the 28th floor. I was so confused, how many transfers do you need to make?! 😂😂😂 The room itself was nice and quite spacious. It would have been better if the downstairs toilet had a shower. For those sleeping downstairs, it was a hassle to have to climb upstairs just to shower, and then come back down. It was quite inconvenient. Everything else was good.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to popular attractions and convenient for getting around. My room was on the 30th floor, which was great as I didn't need to switch elevators. Besides the river view from my room, the public areas on the 30th-floor lobby also offered fantastic views from different angles. My personal experience was very good. The room had a spacious duplex layout, which felt open and not cramped. It was clean and well-equipped. The front desk service was also great, and they were quite responsive to requests. I highly recommend staying here for your trip.

Highly recommend this hotel! The front desk service was excellent; they even offered to help me with my luggage to my room, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was super spacious and the price was great, offering excellent value for money. The mattress was perfectly comfortable, not too soft or too firm, and the bedding had no strange smells – I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. Waking up and opening the curtains to a river view was so therapeutic and instantly brightened my mood. The hotel's location is also very convenient, within walking distance of popular attractions like Hongyadong and Shibati.

The hotel overall is quite good. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and tidy, making it particularly suitable for family trips. The duplex layout with two bathrooms and two showers offers convenience and privacy. The location is excellent, not far from the Yangtze River Cableway, Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Shibati. The hotel service is also great; they helped me arrange a late check-out due to a flight delay and even gave me a lovely refrigerator magnet with Chongqing characteristics. I highly recommend this hotel.
