Choosing to stay at Xiahaoli was such a smart decision! The room was clean, and being right in the scenic area made everything so convenient. At night, there was live music from the bars, the soothing sound of the stream, and a lively buzz of people. In the morning, all that remained were birdsongs and fresh air. It was really pleasant to find such peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. Getting around was also super easy, with the Shangxinjie Station on Metro Line 6 very close by, so we could go anywhere we wanted.

The overall stay experience far exceeded my expectations. The hotel pays great attention to detail, boasts a quiet and elegant environment, and offers comprehensive, well-maintained in-room facilities. The hygiene management system is excellent, with both public areas and guest rooms being spotless. The staff are professional and patient, providing meticulous and warm service. Its prime location and complete amenities make it a top-tier choice among hotels in the same price range. The stay was both comfortable and reassuring.

Facilities: Fully equipped, similar to a guesthouse, with a fridge and washing machine. The master bedroom even has a bathtub. The facilities are comprehensive, even better than a hotel. The toiletries are excellent, meeting the standards of typical chain hotels. Hygiene: Very clean. I've stayed at a place nearby before, and that was more like a hostel in terms of cleanliness. This place is very clean; I specifically checked the corners and mirrors, and it was great. Environment: The environment speaks for itself – just look at the pictures! It has a direct view of the mighty river and an unbeatable night view. There's probably nothing comparable in Chongqing, as there are no hotels on this stretch of road, only guesthouse-style accommodations like this. Service: Prompt responses.

I've been to Chongqing many times, but this was my first stay at a Kempinski. I'd seen on Trip.com that the hotel opened in 2012, so I assumed the facilities and decor might be a bit outdated. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite being open for 14 years, this Kempinski is still exceptionally well-maintained. The original construction materials and furnishings were clearly high-quality, luxury items, so overall, aside from the slightly older design and decor style, everything else was unexpectedly good. This includes the dining options – whether it was Elements Western Restaurant, the Beer Bar, or the Executive Lounge, the food quality was impressive. The desserts and bread, in particular, truly showcased the essence of German culinary excellence. Of course, as a boutique hotel under the GHA DISCOVERY alliance, what truly impressed me most was the service. From the welcoming attitude of the staff to the efficiency of the management team in resolving issues, it truly lives up to Kempinski's reputation as a European hotel aristocrat. Special thanks to the hotel management and operations teams for their meticulous care and excellent service during my stay. Employees like Wilson, the Director of Rooms, Paul, the Guest Services Manager, and Lucy, the Executive Lounge intern, all deserve special recognition!

On our second day in Chongqing, I twisted my ankle and really didn't want to go back to the place we stayed on the first night. We stumbled upon this guesthouse on Binjiang Road, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! When we checked in, the front desk staff saw me limping and immediately upgraded us to a room closer to the reception and with a balcony, without even a second thought. As soon as we entered the room, the view was absolutely stunning – probably one of the most breathtaking perspectives of Chongqing. The room itself was also fantastic, very spacious, and uniquely decorated. The shower was large and the hot water pressure was excellent, which was a huge plus for someone with limited mobility like me. My wife even mentioned that the shampoo and shower gel were really good too (though I wouldn't know!). The next morning, we explored the guesthouse a bit; it's quite large, which made sense why the front desk offered a closer room for the upgrade. This unexpectedly booked hotel truly gave us a great surprise. The service was warm and welcoming, simply perfect. Next time we're in Chongqing, we'll definitely stay here again! 👍

The environment is spotlessly clean, and the room is cozy and comfortable with fresh air. The front desk staff are incredibly attentive and patient, and they treat guests with warmth and kindness. The location is very convenient for getting around, and overall, it offers great value for money. It's a truly reassuring and comfortable stay, genuinely worth recommending to everyone! Although my room type doesn't have a river view, you can see the Raffles City landmark right downstairs, which is quite nice.

The highlight of my Chongqing trip was definitely this hotel, a solid five-star rating! I brought my daughter here, and she really wanted to see Changjiang International. So, I booked the Radisson Blu as it's the closest one. The service at this five-star hotel was exceptional. On check-in day, I mentioned to the front desk that my daughter wanted to see Changjiang International, and Xiao Li at the front desk upgraded us to a Changjiang International River View room. A huge thank you to Xiao Li for making my daughter's fan-girl trip even more special – she even managed to snap photos of the Teens in Times boys leaving work! After we checked out, my daughter realized she'd forgotten her watch charger in the room. The duty manager, Xiao Zhang, called us and even helped us arrange for it to be shipped back via SF Express. Thumbs up to her!

Stayed for 2 nights and loved it so much, I extended for another 2 days. I have to give a special shout-out to Eggy Liu at the front desk, who was incredibly responsible. She helped me upgrade my room and made the extension process very smooth. The service was truly excellent. The bathtub in the room was a huge plus; you can just ask the front desk for bath covers and sea salt, which shows great attention to detail. The location is also fantastic, with a market right next door for easy shopping. There are plenty of food options downstairs too, including hotpot, noodle shops, and convenience stores, so if you're hungry at night, you just head down. All in all, it was a comfortable stay.
