This hotel is super convenient if you're staying near Christchurch Airport. It's just 100 meters from the exit after you pick up your luggage. And if you're renting a car, it's even better – the car rental parking lot is right in the large car park in front of the hotel. The room itself is quite spacious, though the sink area for brushing teeth and washing up is a bit narrow. Breakfast is on the 6th floor and has a good variety of options.

On our honeymoon, we drove around New Zealand's South Island. We landed in Christchurch in the evening and picked up our rental car the next day. Novotel was the most convenient choice – it's just a one or two-minute walk from the airport. Plus, the parking for all the major rental car companies is right downstairs. This was perfect for us as we just needed to grab the keys from the rental counter at the airport and then pick up the car from the parking lot the next morning. **Facilities:** The room wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed for an overnight stay. **Cleanliness:** The room was clean and tidy, and the sheets were spotless. We saw cleaning staff working diligently throughout the morning. **Environment:** It's within walking distance of the airport, but the soundproofing is excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise. **Service:** Very good, the staff were polite. And the breakfast was fantastic – definitely worth trying!

I’ve stayed at several Novotel hotels, including the one in Christchurch city center. Since we had an early flight the next day, we chose Novotel Christchurch Airport for convenience. The location is excellent—right next to the airport and very close to the car rental return, which made our travel much easier. The room was clean and comfortable, though amenities felt limited. For example, slippers were not provided and had to be purchased, which was surprising as they’re quite essential. I didn’t mind not having items like toothbrushes or shaving kits, but slippers would have been appreciated. On the positive side, the Wi‑Fi connection was stable, and the hotel’s Food Exchange restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious food with a panoramic view of the airport. Overall, a convenient stay with great dining, though the in‑room amenities could be improved.

We arrived at the airport very late and were exhausted, so we picked the closest hotel. This was our first hotel in New Zealand, and the front desk staff were lovely and communication was smooth. My child had sprained their ankle, and they graciously extended our check-out time to 12 PM. An Asian-looking manager even brought ice packs for my child. Overall, it was a very heartwarming experience. The next day, our whole family was so tired we overslept and missed the breakfast we'd paid hundreds extra for. Sigh... such a shame.

The transportation is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right downstairs. The restaurant upstairs has great food and offers views of planes taking off and landing. It's definitely worth staying here! As a transit hotel, it comes highly recommended. The service was also quite good; they even upgraded my room to a much more spacious one.

This hotel is right next to the airport, just a few steps out the door and you're there. We stayed here because we had an early flight the next day. Many hotels in New Zealand require check-out by 10 AM, but this one allows you to check out at 11 AM, which was a nice bonus!

We stayed at this airport hotel on our first night of our South Island trip and again the night before we left, and it was definitely the right choice. It was so convenient to have breakfast, check out, and then just walk to the airport for our midday flight. The room felt just as clean and tidy as before, perfect for a family of three.

There's not much to do in Christchurch city center, it's quite boring, mainly a transit hub. Staying here was primarily for convenience to catch a flight. The soundproofing was pretty good, and the room was comfortable. It's within walking distance to a New World supermarket, and there's a good American restaurant across from it, especially their potato wedges side dish.

The hotel is very close to Christchurch Airport, just a few minutes' walk away. There's a Woolworths supermarket nearby, which is really convenient for dining and shopping. The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave a gift to our child.

The biggest plus is the convenience – it's less than 100 meters walk from the airport and right next to the car rental parking lot. Most of the staff were friendly, although there was one Caucasian woman who seemed quite arrogant and unskilled. Otherwise, everything was great; the Māori staff were very kind. You can choose a room with three single beds, each one meter wide. The breakfast is a Western buffet, and you can watch planes take off and land.
