Tru by Hilton Christiansburg

The hotel looks new & modern. Great location at the intersection of 81 & 460 to Blacksburg. Our room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Very nice pillows & we all had a good night sleep. Breakfast although simple has all the ingredients I like for an early start. They offered 24 hours self help coffee & teas at the lobby was another great perk. Great stay all around!

The hotel is new so very clean, comfortable and convenient to the highway. I would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was a joke, not good! Coffee was discussing! Front desk folks pretended they did not even see us, the customers. Overall bad experience. Nice hotel in need of a new owner and better Management and staff. Will not stay in this hotel again!

We had a very nice stay. Love the pool table, water station, grounds that are dog friendly, bedding, shower. Breakfast had 2 pancake stations. Ok selection. Coffee anytime. Nice 1/2 drive to Floyd. Will stay again. Tru is always dog friendly without an extra charge.

Every time someone would close their door.. was so loud, also. You can hear them above you, they were walking on the floor. It was like they were in our room, for a new place it was not sound proff

Everything about the hotel was great. The person on duty wasn’t the best person to work at the front desk. She was not very pleasant.

Check-in was terrible! We let them know that we would not be arriving til midnight. There was no one at the desk, only a sign that said he stepped away “briefly”. Came back 20 minutes later, had to restart computer, couldn’t find our reservation under my name, had to go through my email to find my rez number. Finally got to our room, only to find it occupied!! The poor woman woke up screaming. Got another room but had difficulty sleeping due to all the commotion during check-in. The next morning, went back to the lobby desk, again no one was there. Apparently, they set up a work station over where guest tables are located. She appeared completely unprofessional with messy hair and wearing a gray hoodie. Was aware of the events of the night before, was apologetic but did not say or do anything that would make me want to stay there again

New hotel in a good location. Room was spacious and clean and the walk in shower was nice. Good coffee!
