staff was very rude and overall the service (mainly due to staff) was horrible.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfect for a visit to the area. Morning breakfast was well done.

I’m surprised that Holiday Inn lets this hotel operate under the IHG banner. This hotel is not up to General Holiday Inn standards. The rooms have that foul, musty smell. The sink did not drain properly. The shower water was mildly warm at best. I realize it is an older hotel but there is zero effort to keep it modern. Such a shame. I booked through a 3rd party (**********) and prepaid for 4 breakfasts. The hotel claims to have no record of this. Now I have to see how to handle that misstep. Terrible experience from a traveler who generally trusts the Holiday Inn brand name.

The bathroom was disgusting, it looked like no one had properly cleaned it for a few stays. ******* also stated the breakfast was included, but we had to pay a fee for breakfast.

Bella checked us in and she was absolutely amazing. Rest of the staff was helpful as well. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom amenities was slightly lacking but not a deal breaker. Great location, plenty of food options around the hotel.

Although the hotel was under renovation of the pool area, updated rooms (?), the bathroom was another story. A very strong odor and older fixtures made this place not so great. The staff was really nice and helpful! There are to many other choices out there.

Very terrible experience, the service poorly bad. No room clean service, even I told front desk many many times. It’s the worst hotel that I ever lived. Strongly suggest not live in this hotel.

This hotel is hidden gem! Although we’ve never been to the bar or had the breakfast, everything looks amazing. Sooo tempting! When we stay there, we are visiting our daughter who attends Virginia Tech so we’re spending a lot of time on campus and with her. We can’t wait to come back!! hoping to bring more family with us for a few visits next year and stay with y’all for graduation!! VT class of 2027❤️🧡
