Bright Resort

Every year, when we vacation in Qiandao Lake, we choose this hotel. It's very family-friendly, catering well to both young children and older kids. Once you check in, the variety of activities available can easily fill your entire stay. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room, which offered beautiful scenery and a wonderfully relaxing time.

When booking a hotel in Qiandao Lake, my main concerns were that the older hotels were too dated and the newer ones too expensive. After comparing several options, I decided on a strategy: first, since it was a family trip with kids, it had to be a resort hotel. Second, it absolutely needed to be lakeside with a focus on views and experience. Finally, value for money and hotel amenities were important. That's why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival, the experience was indeed great. The room was spacious, offering a first-row lake view. The pool, petting zoo, and other amenities were all conveniently located within the hotel. The breakfast noodles were particularly distinctive. An evening electric buggy ride around the lake with my family of four was also very pleasant. My only minor complaint is the limited number of charging stations. With more and more electric cars on the road, arriving late in the evening meant no charging spots were available. However, overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake.

Choosing Bertley Hotel for our Qiandao Lake trip was definitely the right decision. Our private butler, Yu Duoduo, provided meticulous service and was excellent at communication, handling minor issues amicably and appropriately. The panoramic lake view was incredibly healing, and watching the sunset in the evening was utterly delightful. The room had excellent soundproofing, offering great privacy, so our rest was undisturbed. The buffet breakfast was fresh and abundant, with a wide variety of fruits. The facilities were comprehensive, catering to both relaxation and entertaining children. Overall, it offered great value for money.

Everything about the environment was satisfying, just look at the pictures. It's perfect for a family vacation with kids. The hotel is very accommodating for both children and the elderly. Our butler, Xiao Zhang, was excellent – always responsive to our requests. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely come back to stay again if we have the chance. You can see the Qiandao Lake view right from the window, which is truly fantastic!👍

What I liked most about this hotel was the service. The staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting me with a smile as soon as I walked in. They even upgraded me to a lake view room when it was available, and proactively asked how they could assist me. This is my second time staying here in three months, and it'll definitely be my top choice again when I return to Qiandao Lake!

The service was very attentive and polite, with smiling staff everywhere. The environment is great; you step right out into a forest with many birds. Upon check-in, they proactively upgraded us to a lake-view villa. It was filled with the sounds of birds and blooming flowers, and there was even a cute little cat outside the house that I fed some meat, hehe. After waking up, I took a walk on the wooden boardwalk. The air was incredibly fresh, and I even got to photograph some birds. There's also an observation deck where you can see the beautiful distant mountains. Breakfast was just average, but everything else was excellent.

I originally booked for late April, but it got pushed to early May. On the last day of the holiday, most people had left, so the resort was very quiet. They upgraded me to a lake-view room, which offered beautiful scenery. There was also a WeChat butler service – a big shout-out to Yu Duoduo! She fulfilled all my requests and responded very promptly. I didn't have high expectations initially, but Thousand Island Lake, with its cascading green hills, truly lives up to its reputation for beauty. It was already quite sunny in early May, and I ended up not visiting any of the planned attractions, choosing to just stay at the hotel. Luckily, there was a zoo and a swimming pool, and the grounds were quite spacious. There were several swallows' nests under the balcony eaves, and the staff even covered them with foam, worried they might fall – truly kind-hearted people. The only minor drawback was the limited breakfast options, but that's a small detail; overall, it was still excellent.

This hotel has so many positives; if it's your first time in Qiandao Lake, it's practically a must-stay. 1. The pet park is on a hill with a great environment, offering lake views. 2. We were upgraded to a lake-view room. 3. They gave us welcome gifts for both adults and children, which was a very nice touch. 4. The hotel offers cycling activities, perfect for a relaxed time. 5. We received complimentary tickets to the Botanical Garden, which is currently the most popular attraction in Qiandao Lake. 6. The hotel's observation deck is beautiful, comparable to Bali. 7. The breakfast offered some local delicacies, but there's still room for improvement in quality. 8. The hotel's 'Hundred Family Surnames' cultural theme is very unique and worth experiencing. 9. The pool provides free swimming rings for children, and it's also a lake-view pool. 10. The butler was responsible and followed up promptly – truly an MVP employee of the hotel. Downsides: The hairdryer was just okay, the recreation center had too many paid activities, and the piano in the lobby was just for show, not playable.
