What a gorgeous hotel! Stunning inside and out, comfortable and elegant. Staff were always very helpful, smiling, kind and friendly. Its perfectly suited to explore the town and is a haven from hot days and tired feet!

This hotel is absolutely stunning, it is spotlessly clean. The furnishings are simply stunning, showing finesse in even the smallest details. The room we booked was the one with the balcony! Yes it does overlook the road, but this does not take away from the beautiful views! A bonus is the lovely bird evening song and the sound of the church bells, beautiful! Breakfast was excellent as was the meal we had on the first evening, the wine recommendation was first class too. The pool is cold but very welcoming after a day exploring! The staff are amazing, polite, friendly and very well mannered. An extremely welcoming hotel and if we are ever in this area again, we would definitely book again! I wouldn’t change anything.

WOW! What a beautiful hotel in an amazing town. We were lucky enough to be at the hotel on Easter weekend, and there were vendors lining the streets for the Easter festival selling everything from lace to truffles to cheese to porchetta. We had a storybook time here. The hotel is class act - designed beautifully. The breakfast was amazing. However, the true stand out was the staff. It was a busy weekend and Veronica at the front desk found a room at the hotel for us to stay an extra night as well as got us into one of the best restaurants in the area for Easter lunch (pretty hard reservations to come by!!) Thank you to everyone who made our stay here so memorable. We'll be back!

Our visit to Hotel Vannucci started with us being unsure where to park, but Emmanuelle came to our rescue and took care of us from that moment onwards. The two other places we stayed in Italy were of the ‘historic countryside villa’ style, and Hotel Vannucci was a delightful change of pace. The hotel is a chic modern classic in décor, beautifully decorated, and comfortable in every way. We also ate at Ristorante Zefferano one evening and it was one of our best meals in Italy. HIGHLY recommended!

Liked · Historic building and grounds yet all modernized in terms of decor indoors and functionality. Front desk (Veronica) was supportive with information about the town. The room we slept in was modern, comfortable and somewhat luxurious. Even the towels were plush (wow for Italy!). Breakfast was very good with lots of choices of fresh foods and beverages. Value is good except I choose the room with a balcony for 50 Euros more than the standard room. It is not worth it. The balcony overlooks the street. Disliked · Parking is in back of a Cooking school next door without signage telling any parkers where the hotel is. I called on a rainy day that we were trying to find the hotel. The receptionist Veronica answered and gave us directions but no one offered to meet us and help us with baggage. The parking is not handicapped accessible. There is a staircase leading up to the cooking school. There is no ramp. Also, after we checked in no one even offered to help us with bags which we did not request nor did we need but imagine if I was an elderly person or a person with disabilities?

Hotel Vannucci is located on top of the hill of Citta della Pieve, a few steps outside the medieval historic center. This means the car can be parked directly behind the hotel (note: The suitcases still need to be carried two floors high, as there is no direct access). The hotel is a beautiful, fully renovated old building decorated traditionnally with a lot of style. We had a standard room, which was rather small, but very nice and with a super comfortable bed and sheatings (!). Staff is very professional at a high level and eager to assist. The hotel has a large and marvellous garden with a pool - and here comes the odd reservation: In the plot next door, most of the time the small generator of a supermarket is running which produces a lot of noise, impossible to sit quietly at the pool. Staff confirms they tried hard to find solutions, so far with no result. So, a perfect place to stay, but don't really count on the garden and pool.

Lovely hotel with great staff, good service nestled in an ideal location to everything. Enjoyed our wanders around the town and loved the quiet ambience of the hotel itself. As international tourists it was very enjoyable to stay in a good class of hotel in the regions. We were made to feel very welcome and hope to be back one day !
