Hyde Park Superior Apartments

Great location close to two tube stations, Queensway and Bayswater and plenty shops and restaurants. Central location to Kensington Palace which is right beside you at Queensway Tube Station. We had a third Floor room, no stairs, six, yes six flights of steep stairs, even the member of staff who helped with our bags was challenged to do these. Room was OK. Small shower that our Young daughter found a challenge. Only for the stairs it was a good location. Asked for different room, non available in the price we booked, no offer of a different price room for an extra charge. Of we were to stay again would be asking for a very lower floor. It did not mention when booking there was no lift unit we stayed in could do with some TLC in areas. Area was quiet at night time. Security deposit of £200.00 charged on book in. No facility to pay by Card at reception desk and had to be done online via a link sent to you. Strange way to handle payments.

I stay at Hyde Park Superior most weeks when I'm in London for work. The staff are always pleasent & welcoming. The apartments are nice, some better than others as they are being updated. The communial areas have recently been decorated, the carpet needs changing as there a few stains but other than that. Reception is in a different building a few doors down but they have a whatsapp chat service which works well and the reception team are very attentive. For the price and location it's good for Hyde Park

A small but clean apartment in the basement but all of the furnishings and fittings seemed cheap - the main bed was uncomfortable and far too close to the wall on one side and the fold out sofa was difficult to use and seemingly broken. The table and chairs were wobbly and just overall everything was done on the cheap. No hotel lift was a bind and no concierge or reception in the building made it feel less secure than I would have liked. The location was good for food and transport but overall the facilities were underwhelming.

Nothing unique, convenient location, worn, but what to expect from london at this price?

The apartment seemed newly refurbished and nicely decorated. Painters were painting outside the front door while we were there. It was very comfortable and had all the essentials we needed for our stay. The keys were picked up from a reception a few doors down which made it easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was superb. Very near Bayswater underground station and a few local supermarkets and takeaways. Hyde park was also less than five minutes walk. It’s a great place to stay for a family looking to sort out own meals and keep down the cost of a trip to London. The museums are half an hour walk across Hyde park or you can get the tube.

2 adult and 2 children to stay here, we absolutely loved our apartment, felt very homely and comfortable. Have discussed coming back in the future. Didn’t want to come home!

Good property, but very noisy area. Too many young people staying - very nosy till late hours

Reception area looked very unwelcoming, the furnitures were all old and tired and even have tears and wears. Needs a little revamp of furnitures. Receptionist seemed OK. The apartment itself was quite old. The curtains were very old and dusty and it didn't even cover the whole window. The couch bed was old too. Needs a revamp for such an area and price the apartments needs alittle upgrade. Basically nothing was like the pictures must update on the system for more realistic pictures. But would defo stay just needs a little touch up. Thank you

Having read the reviews before arriving I was a bit apprehensive, however I was pleasently suprised! It wasn't The Ritz, but clean and had the facilities expected. Having stayed in many hotels & apartments in London, this wasn't the worst I've stayed in, but not the best, however pleasent enough!
