We booked 18 rooms at the hostal sunset for our wedding guests but have stayed on multiple occasions at the Hostal Sunset. The staff here are really helpful and friendly; a special thanks to Marco & Veronica. This is a budget hotel, centrally located but still far enough away from the noise to be quiet enough to get some decent sleep. We were a mixture of couples and families. This hotel on some sites states no children but we had a few with us so check with the hotel in case this changes. The rooms are very basic; some have been updated and some still need it but at £75 a night for a room for 2 with a terrace in August you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and if you need anything done there is always someone to help. The only thing I would suggest are slightly better mattresses (this is probably as I’m used to a firmer mattress at home). The pool area is across the road and great; it never gets too busy and there’s always a life guard on duty. You can take you’re own drinks and food to the pool as they currently don’t have a bar at the hotel. We took a speaker so had a pre party most days. Every room has a safe for free, the air con is fantastic and there are some free toiletries; you can buy more at reception. I would definitely book again if I was looking for something cheap to put my head down.

My husband and I have family on Ibiza and wanted to couple night get away for just the two of us…. It was the perfect solution! Unfortunately there was only the smaller room (not bungalow) available. But it was cozy and warm and bed comfortable and private. Exactly what we needed. The entire place was friendly clean comfortable and close to the seaside (15 mins drive) beautiful pool although was too chilly to swim.. restaurant on site which was sweet ~ although pricey and imaginative menu however we weren’t enticed to return … breakfast was tasty! Enjoy your stay!

Lovely hotel, clean minimalist bedrooms, not far from the ‘*****’ about 10 minutes walk to all bars and restaurants on the sea front Ibiza is just amazing, the hotel didn’t disappoint. Great music on in the day, the life guard is always cleaning round and is so happy and chirpy. Friendly welcoming staff We just had bed and breakfast only made it down once ( if you know you know 🤣) meals around the pool lovely. Supermarket at the side of the hotel sells the best salad and fruit boxes!!!! Perfect for the worst hangovers 100% recommend

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights 23rd to 26th of August for my daughters hen party we were a group of 8 and had 3 rooms. The hotels location is excellent to get to the beach and the strip, it was spotless and we had our room cleaned daily. It was not what I was expecting for a 2 star hotel I think we were all pleasantly surprised we slept well as the beds were comfortable and had fresh towels every day. The breakfast was really nice, plenty of choices. The rooms were a good Size, we were in a room for 2 and had a balcony the larger rooms didn't have a balcony but air con was good in all of our rooms. The pool was really nice and we found Orlando the pool and bar guy plesent. The only negative is because we had a balcony the previous guests have smoked in the room and we mentioned this to the maid and she sprayed it with a stronger air conditioner, but it didn't make alot of difference so we had balcony door open most of the time but air con didn't work when the door was open. The other rooms how ever were fine. This hotel is worthy of a 3 or 4 star and was perfect for our stay, we all enjoyed ourselves so well done to all of the staff there. I would stay here again if I came back to ibiza.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the breakfast offerings. The spread was complete and absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes Moreover, the reception service was exceptional. Special mention goes to Alicia, who provided outstanding assistance. Her friendly and professional demeanor made my stay even more enjoyable. The excellent service and warm hospitality at this hotel truly stand out. Highly recommended!

Hostal fantástico para alojarse en Ibiza, por calidad precio, por ubicación, tienen zonas comunes donde relajarse o cocinar, conocer a otros viajeros, las habitaciones son sencillas pero están muy bien, igual los baños, limpios y organizados.. a la mañana tienes té y café para tomar, a mí paso estuve muy tranquilo no había ruidos y el personal fue muy amable conmigo. Super recomendable además pertenece a una cadena de Hostels muy conocida en Canarias que se llama Nest, ya estuve anteriormente en alguno de sus alojamientos y son buenísimos!

Where do I start…. Worst hotel ever!!! We booked this through ***********, note when booking that hotel only operates 14:00-16:00 check in which is complete load of crap given it’s 5 minutes from the airport, why would anyone stay there if not for early/late flight?! We arrived at 2:45 am (flight was late and queue at the airport was mad) just to find out that they have given away our room and so we ended up homeless in Ibiza at 3 am in pouring rain!! Receptionist didn’t speak a word of English nor invited us in or offered us a drink but left us standing in the rain while both of us, me and my partner were trying to call hotels and find an alternative! Receptionist didn’t even offered to help. We ended up in the other side of island, paid €600 just to sleep in for couple hours and €30 taxi there (and back again next day as we had to collect rental car from the airport) and OM Hotel refused to take any responsibility for causing us the stress and wasting so much money on some crap room, they didn’t even get back to me when I sent them an email with the complaint and not have responded when I’ve asked for compensation, they did wave no show fee (ha ha can you imagine?!). This is not a hotel and certainly not a hotel customer service, scammers if anything as I bet intention was to give the room away and then charge us no show fee but unfortunately for them we did show up! I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything more traumatic than this, ruined our holiday and left bad taste in our mouths for the rest of vacation!
