The hotel looks old, but the rooms and facilities are very clean and spacious. The most liked facility in this hotel is the public bath, which was very clean and spacious, and a few people.
There are different restaurants around the hotel, I think the location of hotel was perfect to move.
This hotel has a history of 130 years. There is an indoor and outdoor pool for girls, and one for boys outdoors. There is no private soup in the old hotel.
The boss opened a new restaurant opposite the hotel. It was opened on the day we arrived. You can make reservations for the private soup in the new restaurant. Fortunately, the enthusiastic boss took us around. It turned out that the private soup in the new hall is just a big wooden barrel! The ground floor of the new building is used as a guest house, and the second floor is the home of the boss’s daughter. I personally feel that it is more traditional stone masonry.
The skin of the hot spring blisters is very slippery. After returning to Shanghai, my friends said that my skin is in good condition, haha
When we left, the owner and his wife went out to see them off in person, a very humane shop!
I made a reservation after reviewing the guest’s comments that his meal is very good. Sure enough, the dinner and breakfast were very good, with Saga Wagyu beef for dinner and tofu soup for breakfast! Very full and full~~

This ryokan is well located and is run by very nice people who represent the true Japanese hospitality - attentive and warm while staying effective and professional. However, the ryokan infra really needs refurbishing. It felt like we were stuck in the 80s... I mean, it must have been a grand place back then but one would think that no renovation or changes has been done to it since. Old carpets and wallpapers, lighting etc. Someone should invest in this place and do it up! There is however another modern-looking hotel across the river that bears the same hotel logo. Maybe they spent all their capital there? The room there apparently are western style though, which is a shame because the japanese style rooms in this one are kinda nice- original for foreign travellers like us.
The service, I must say, is world class. They were so nice to cancel the other booking I made (I double booked accidentally) upon confirming with me as soon as we arrived (we managed to communicate despite the language barrier as they hardy speak any English). Would not mind staying there again next time, if they refurbished the place.
I had no travel plan in Ureshino, but I had no choice but to book a stay in Ureshino because all the hotels around Takeo Onsen were full.
It was already night when I arrived, but Yoko baked bread, got fruit and honey, finished dinner, and the bed was soft and I slept soundly.
I also got a book and CD written by Yoko's husband as a gift.
He also introduced me to the walking path of Ureshino and spent a good half day in Ureshino. The highway bus to Hakata also sent me the information that Yoko taught me and the bus center.

A long-established hot spring hotel, the one-stop-and-two meals are delicious and have the feel of kaiseki cuisine. The hot springs include an underground floor and an open-air hot spring on the 9th floor. The century-old hot spring is well-deserved and highly recommended.
A slippery floor of the lobby and the hotel's antique furniture is nice. What, however, it is expecting big fault. Rooms (western twin room) For Sunny carpets and beds in the damp and there I met a cockroach on the sink in the evening. I did not boncheok and the next morning I slept just turns out under belongings. By booking includes breakfast and dinner, I expected a great French meal The evening was provided by 'Montestella' La movement of the village. Inde Italian restaurant staff are friendly, but I lack the skill. Taste and zest commonplace. Breakfast was provided on the second floor of the hotel was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you ate a good dinner, euryeonman Is not see where the guests write down operations.
It was very good.
It was so nice to have a Song Ying service. I went to Nagasaki on the day of my stay, but I took me to Ureshino Onsen Station and came back to pick me up. At the front desk, you also gave us detailed information about Shinkansen time and all kinds of information. The staff are very friendly.
As a welcome dessert, a simple snack made of chocolate and strawberries is served in a cool box, and my name is written on the lid of the box with chocolate. It's not a birthday, but I felt like I had a birthday service.
It was a tatami room, and dinner was mainly sagagyu sukiyaki for Kaiseki dishes in the room. I ate it.
Breakfast was a set meal prepared on the second floor, and this was delicious. Especially hot spring tofu is a must.
There is a simple snack bar in the lobby, and the sweets are delicious. You can enjoy beer and highball for free at night.
There are indoor baths and open-air baths on the top floor, and the hot spring water is good. I stayed at another ryokan the day before, but I felt that the water was much more slippery than that, and I used it as it was. There's ice cream next to the hot spring, which is quite delicious.
You can leave your luggage before/after check-in. When I went, I gave rice as a gift when I checked out as a gift to commemorate the first anniversary of the opening of the Shinkansen at Ureshino Onsen Station. Thank you for the saga fat, not only saga gyu, but also the delicious rice.
It was a very satisfying stay in many ways. I'll go again.
Location: Far away from JR but very close to the bus terminal, only 5 minutes away. And the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services at the bus terminal, bus transfer station and JR, so it is not a problem.
Facilities: Since the hotel has a bit of history, it is relatively dilapidated, but the facilities are sufficient, except for the relatively simple equipment in the room. Many parts of the old place are fading and peeling. After all, it has been some time since the last renovation.
Food: I booked a hotel room and two meals. Dinner and breakfast were all buffet style. If I chose the most basic set meal, there was no seafood provided. Most of them are Japanese food, the taste is good, and the selection is normal. The surprising thing is that each restaurant provides a small stove and steamer, which can cook and steam food by yourself, but there are not many choices, and there is only a small candle provided for heating. Slow and will be used up quickly, no additional service is provided.
Service: First of all, the pick-up service is very considerate. Before departure, we had to take a direct bus from Fukuoka Airport to Ureshino, which only took 45 minutes. I was already worried that I would not be able to catch the bus, which would affect the check-in time, and I was also worried that I would not be able to catch the last pick-up service (8pm). I kept in contact with the hotel and provided suggestions and solutions, which was very thoughtful. I also emailed the hotel about my situation on the way to the bus, and the hotel immediately reminded me of the correct drop-off point and asked the pick-up and drop-off staff to pick me up at that location (because I had chosen another location to reserve the pick-up service at the beginning). It was already dark after getting off the bus, but the staff kept waiting and came up to confirm that they were considerate.
The counter staff are also considerate and courteous; but the restaurant staff are a little weak in comparison. They don't speak English. I understand it very well, but it seems that the stove for cooking food needs a lighter. It is not easy to find a lighter. When I asked the staff to get it, I didn't want to ignore it. Maybe it's because it's too busy, after all, there are only 2-3 employees. Instead, it is often the Japanese travelers next to me who remind me.
Overall: There is a hotel in Ureshino that provides one bed and two meals. This one is considered to be more cost-effective. Other hotels are more expensive and may have higher quality, but this one is worth the price, location and shuttle service. Finally, the yukata in the hotel is the cutest and most beautiful I have ever used in different places in Japan, which made me fall in love with yukata.

GGuest UserThe hotel is big enough, has free parking, and is very close to the station. When checking in, there were no online reviews that said the service was so good. When checking out, the staff was helpful in making reservations for the hot springs.
NNuonuokafeiI arrived at Ureshino Onsen Station and asked the staff at the information desk to arrange a taxi to the hotel in ten minutes. Ureshino Onsen is conveniently located by the Kyushu Shinkansen. There are only a few businesses in the town. Most of the Japanese-style rooms in the park are very old, but there are a few renovated suites that are very nice. I wanted to upgrade the room but was told that they were all booked. The cheaper rooms are in the lobby, and the more expensive ones are in the private rooms. All the rooms have river views, but the view is average. Breakfast and dinner have tea elements, which are fresh and delicious. The meals are enhanced and sub-items, the service is also warm and thoughtful, and the hot spring water is very slippery. I was given a tea voucher for the newly renovated bar opposite. Although it is free, the service is very thoughtful and formal. It's a pity that I can't drink or I would definitely take care of his business. The tea in the store is good and affordable. The box is small and I only bought two packs. Disadvantages: The room is too old, the tatami smells like pickles, it is inconvenient to sleep on the floor, and there were two power outages, one for dinner, and one time I was locked in the elevator, which was scary. In addition, the outdoor bath has a bad smell. The bougainvillea in the greenhouse next to it is said to be the largest in Japan, but it is actually just a small greenhouse. The hot spring hotels in Ureshino town are all very old. I had booked a night at Sakura Hotel, but when I went over, I saw that the lobby was under construction. Overall, it was not as good as the theme park, so I canceled my plan and went to Nagashima by Shinkansen for a 20-minute ride.
FFrancisDrove there. Our room is located first floor with private onsen bath in the room. No shoes are allowed when you first step into the Ryokan. Slippers are provided.
Staff are friendly and nice, the room is clean and spacious. Food was typical Japanese breakfast. The private in-house onsen bath was awesome but sadly on the second day, the onsen bath tub started to leak hot spring water from all sides of the bath tub and from the wall and there is no way to stop the water gushing out!
As a kind gesture, the manager gave us some private time on the private onsen (require booking)
MMINGYEUNGDelightful and unique! Easy to find, with a warm welcome and a lovely, nostalgic vibe. The private onsen with wonderful water was a highlight. Our renovated room was beautifully appointed, with a private bath and lovely details. We also savored a spectacular feast of Saga beef and other fine traditional meals. The staff's genuine kindness, including arranging a special gift, was much appreciated. Highly recommend!
XXiaoxuwanThe hotel environment is good, details can be seen in the picture, the overall level of one night and two meals is almost worth the money, only the following two points need to be improved:
1. Understand that it is difficult to recruit local young people and their English level is not enough. There is a Central Asian girl at the front desk of the hotel. Her English level is actually average, but her service ability really needs to be improved. She took the wrong hotel floor plan and introduced it. At the end, she found out that she had to start all over again (can I only start over when I was interrupted by reciting?) When she couldn't express herself in poor English, she didn't think of using a translator at all. I translated it into Japanese and asked her colleagues~
2. Before going, I had been looking forward to the free loan bath for a long time, but in the end, except for the large baths for men and women, everything was under renovation:-(😭
In addition, dinner was served one by one, and I don’t know if it was not well connected or it was time-consuming to make it on the spot? For several dishes, I pressed the bell to remind them but still waited a long time before they were served.
GGuest UserAfter booking the hotel, I was hesitant and worried that it would be bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel! Everything is better than expected ^_^Small but beautiful! The front desk staff are friendly and attentive. There was a young man from China at the front desk who gave a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities, dinner reservation times and some sightseeing suggestions in Chinese. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I met a Japanese lady at the hotel front desk (who spoke very fluent English) who gave guests free drinks to celebrate the New Year, which made people feel cordial and warm. There are few people in the hotel's hot springs and they are very clean. Basically every time I go, the restaurant is reserved;) Dinner is a major feature of the hotel and worth experiencing. Although the ingredients don't look amazing, they are actually carefully prepared and high-quality ingredients. The cooking method is not very flashy, which is probably the characteristic of Ureshino. I ate every meal until I couldn't finish it. The Saga beef melts in your mouth, the tiny pufferfish is extremely delicious, the crabs are sweet and plump...^_^The soup tofu for breakfast is soft, glutinous and smooth in the mouth, without any beany smell, and the rich bean aroma is unforgettable.
The appearance picture of the hotel on Ctrip’s official website is different from the actual one! This is actually the first photo I took of this! Much better than what is shown on the official website! Best hotel for traveling with parents!
劉劉俊興au1313From the moment you enter the hotel lobby, you feel the most expected Japanese-style exquisite and considerate service. The various decorations and landscaping in the hotel are elegant and pleasing to the eye. The welcome drinks, souvenir shop, and library tea shop are all impressive. f Our room is a Japanese-style room, which is spacious and well-equipped. It comes with a tea set and a full jar of Ureshino tea, and an independent and spacious cypress bathtub. Everything you look at makes you feel happy. We also used the restaurant’s tofu hot pot set menu, which was both delicious and unique. The special tofu ice cream is a must-try. The hotel's breakfast is buffet style and very rich. Finally, the hotel can also arrange to take guests to the JR Shinkansen station (Urishino Onsen Station) for free, which is a perfect end to the trip.
GGuest UserI almost missed this shop. It's in the form of a coffee and cake shop at the entrance. After entering, you can check in by yourself on the first floor. You can store your luggage. There is no shower in the room. Go to the bathhouse on the first floor. Bath towels and toiletries are self-service on the second floor. You can eat popsicles after bathing. When I was in the elevator, I met a cute little boy who wanted to eat popsicles for me. My heart melted ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. I ate in the coffee shop in the morning. The food is a bit simple, but it's filling. Ureshino Tofu is well-deserved.
경경The hotel name and check-in location were different, so I had a bit of a hard time on a rainy day. The accommodation and hot springs were really great. The room was clean, the bedding was clean, and there was an open-air hot spring. There were also table tennis and soccer games. I had a lot of fun. This is a recommended accommodation~~^^
