I remember to order dinner at the Michelin Star Restaurant. The 4-way style is actually a 14-way style. It is best to reserve around 8 o'clock because it takes nearly 3 hours to eat, and must contain red wine! It is highly recommended to book a sea view room with a balcony. Carlos, was a wonderful host! Very welcoming and accommodating. … always wanting to make sure you were comfortable! A unique experience in a beautiful home. Shared areas were spacious, well appointed and amazingly beautiful. Rooms were well equipped with everything you need. Much like a bed and breakfast which I was not expecting… not to mention, the breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Carlos put a lot of effort into serving fresh fruit, croissants, pastries, Portuguese cold cuts, cheeses, fresh orange juice and espresso‘s, lattes, whatever coffee you desire! Thank you Carlos for making our stay in Cascais so memorable!

After spending a week walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, my husband and I sought out a beautiful boutique hotel for some R & R in Portugal. Estoril Vintage Hotel was the perfect choice. The mansion is spectacular with no detail overlooked. The decor was amazing and museum quality. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was perfectly appointed with a very comfortable bed, in-room coffee, nighttime turndown service, and even chocolates waiting on the pillows each evening. The staff was attentive and met every need without question - starting with Jorge when we checked in, the concierge team, and all the way through the wait staff and maid service. The views are spectacular. We had to pinch ourselves each day to make sure this was real. How nice it was for Maria, the owner, to stop by and greet each of the guests individually while we had breakfast on the terrace each day - a lovely, personal touch. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for those looking for a unique and pampering experience in the Estoril/Cascais area. We walked to Cascais almost every day of our 6-day stay; only a short 10-15 minute walk. The beach is right there and many shops, restaurants, and places nearby to grab a souvenir, a sangria or Vinho Verde. This was a good location to catch a train into Lisbon (5 minute walk to the Monte Estoril train station) and we also spent a day in Sintra. The hotel is far enough away from the noisy downtown for tranquility, but close enough to the action when you want it. This place was amazing.

Warm welcome and tour of the property and its facilities on arrival. Staff all friendly and efficient. Bedroom with balcony and shower room clean and modern. Serviced daily. Hot water, shower, air con good. Beautiful mature garden with several water features and two swimming pools in terraces (on a hillside) so lots of steps. Abundant breakfast with some variation each day. English style and Continental. Self service coffee / hot choc/hot water/milk machine worked well. Lactose free options available on request. Space a little confined in the buffet area but plenty of seating inside and out. Beautiful clean house with period styling and features. Parking on the road outside the villa was metered. Approx €1 per hour. Free on Sunday and during the night. Some noise from building projects in the vicinity. A good variety of cafes and restaurants within 10 to 15 mins walk.

This hotel is all about location. It is bang in the centre and close to everything. We were in Cascais to support our son in the Iron Man competition and it was ideal. It was perfect to pop back and fore to and confirmed that yes you can get cheaper places miles away but the convenience of closeness trumps that. Staff were superb. Friendly helpful -nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was fine. It’s not the Ritz so don’t expect eggs Benedict etc. Similarly the rooms were adequate ,clean, with everything you needed. Would we go back there . Yes no hesitation

It is indeed a hotel, the facilities inside feel average, but the whole is quite clean. Need to go up and down stairs, no elevator, so it is not convenient to bring heavy luggage Useful pool, didn't have time to see Breakfast starts at 8 o'clock, a little late
