The environment is really good. The mountains and plains are covered with red, yellow and green colors. This is it. The golf course looks like an oil painting when photographed.
However, such an expensive hotel does not include breakfast. There is only a buffet breakfast for 28 and there is not much to eat. I mainly eat fruits. The dinner at 1902 restaurant tastes good but is very expensive. They don’t even provide bread before the meal. They still have to buy it for 6 US dollars.
I stayed in so many hotels this time, and this is the only one that has a bellman to help deliver luggage to the room because the elevator is too small.
The tour that introduced the hotel was really good. The tour was supposed to be one hour, but the tour lasted an hour and a half.
The service at the front desk was very poor. When I checked in, I was asked to swipe my credit card for a pre-authorization deposit. After eating two meals, I thought it was deducted from the deposit. I called the bank and said it was two pre-authorizations and one was credited to US$253 (meal fee). It’s a few dollars more than the deposit) It’s another pre-authorization for POS machine consumption that hasn’t been released yet. I don’t know what kind of trick this is. I only stayed for one night and two pre-authorizations were deducted from me. How did I use POS for the second deposit? The card machine didn't ask me for my credit card when I checked out.

Our overall stay was good. One comment is for the shuttle service to the ski hill. It looks like there is only one shuttle and you are waiting for more than half hour for the next one. Half an hour is fine but if the weather is bad and you are traveling with kids it might be better to drive

We have stayed here many times and look forward to coming back. There is so much history here. There’s nothing quite like it. Take the history tour and make some time to eat in the main dining room. A fun little family get away! Bretton Woods is an amazing place to ski and it’s a 2 minute drive across the road. Already can’t wait to come back!

The property is sprawling and incredible. Beautiful views, picturesque, like a dream. The staff from start to finish from the front door to all the way to the back of the house are incredible and it was the most hospitable environment I’ve ever seen. I was thoroughly impressed by all the staff.

The views are amazing, absolutely stunning. The restaurants and bars are also pretty cool, you basically don’t have to leave the hotel for anything!
The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that there was carpet everywhere and it was very old, so we ended up getting sick after. So if you are sensitive to old carpets blasting indoor heat, sleep somewhere else and come only for the views and amenities!

I will always choose this place. I love everything about it. The staff is great, the food and the view. You don't have to go anywhere. You also ski free when you stay at the hotel, the resort has a shuttle that takes you the ski mountain.

We stayed for Thanksgiving and the day after. The property is beautiful, and the service is fantastic. Two issues: there needs to be a lounge area for adults 18 and over. The hotel has a lot of families with young children. This is expected, but they overran the lounge areas and not everyone wants to listen to kids running and screaming. Also there is a lack of reasonably priced dining options. A burger is $33. That’s insane. $20 - OK. $33 - greedy. But there are no outside dining options so they gouge you.
