Red Mountain House

Centrally located surrounded by cafes and, restaurants. Great Italian restaurant on ground floor. Rooms were spacious, clean and serviced regularly.

The place is located at the perfect area, we loved the area. Violet was amazing and understanding even left us a letter with instructions because we were late. We loved the room it was cosy and clean. Highly recommend it.

We spent 4 nights here. The location was perfect - directly on the square. We were a bit concerned it might be noisy as we had a room overlooking the brewery and a restaurant, but everything closes by 10pm, and it was quiet (it wasn't particularly noisy anyway). There's also parking behind the guesthouse, which was very convenient, as the square gets quite busy with cars. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place to stay in the heart of all the activities and looking out on the square and the mountain. Clarens Brewery next door and a pizza place downstairs. Clean, friendly, inviting with all the amenities you need in your room. Even though you’re amidst all the activities, noise levels were not disruptive at all.

Stunning views, think this would be a lovely spot in winter. In summer however aircon is a must qnd we missed that they do not hv aircon. Friendly checkin and for just one night good for sleeping over in clarens. Furniture dated but very clean and cozy with a fireplace.

Violet was very helpful and efficient from the beginning. Rooms were lovely and information was shared accordingly. It's lovely being in the heart of the main road of Clarens and experiencing the Clarens vibe. Centrally located and ideal for walking around the town

My husband and I went to Clarens on a quick getaway. Managed to get the specific room we wanted (& have stayed in a few times). Violet was very helpful. The table and chairs on the veranda are a nice touch, overlooking the mountain range. Quiet room at the back. No noise from "the square". The room was clean ànd the bed was very comfortable. My only gripe was the coloured bath towels. They need upgrading to white.

Excellent location and very convenient to lots of activities for family entertainment. Friendly and welcoming staff ensuring that our stay was pleasant and that rooms were clean and tidy at all times.
