Roost Cleveland

This was an excellent hotel in the heart of Cleveland, right next to Rocket Arena, as we were in town for the Life Surge Convention. It was clean, very spacious. The staff was very helpful and provided amenities. We got a two bedroom apartment which had a king bedroom and queen bedroom with two separate bathrooms and a very large living room with kitchenette overlooking the public square. This is a great place for a family to stay in downtown Cleveland and I’d highly recommend it.

I was traveling to Cleveland for a conference and preferred an apartment style hotel to stay out to cook meals and generally not stay at the convention center hotel. I highly recommend ROOST Cleveland - the location is incredible and there's a lot of cafes and a grocery store in walking distance. I was also able to quickly take the bus to visit some museums on my last day! The space was so big and luxurious and cozy; having the ability to do laundry and run a dishwasher made being it feel like I was right at home.

Hotel stay was fantastic. The only issue I had was during checkout. I had to check out early due to travel plans changing. The desk clerk was helpful during the afternoon and left a note for the early morning desk clerk. When I went to the front desk to check out the clerk was nowhere to be found. The placard at the front desk had a number to call for immediate assistance, this would have been helpful had that number not direct you to the phone at that counter. 20 minutes later the clerk returned and assisted me with checking out. Outside of this fringe example, it was a great stay and well worth the price.

The floors in the apartments were so dirty they made my feet dirty. The washer was moldy. And there was a problem with the fire alarm during the first night that went off three times.

The only issue we had was the parking garage. We were one hour past our time and were charged $64 to exit the garage. Garage communication was awful. There was nothing stated what we would be charged if we went beyond the exit time
