Thriftlodge Cochrane South

My friend and I spent one night here with my pup. The customer service was wonderful. The man at the front desk (owner?) was such a lovely person, very kind and respectful. The pet fee was very reasonable at $15 dollars, which I really appreciate since she comes with me everywhere. Room was clean and our stay was quiet. The rooms are dated, but I appreciated the charm. I will stay here again on my northern Ontario adventures.

Breakfast is very thifty. Staff seem unorganized. Linens were stained and had burn holes in them. No paint was within the lines. Roof holes were covered with vents. However good proximity to snowmobile trails. And excellent trailer parking.

Very out dated no heat in room no hot water tv didn’t work went to another room toilet not even fastened to floor terrible

ok for $ , if travelling overnight for quick cheap stay, run down and needs upgrading

This is a very old motel, not kept up the greatest, curtains on the windows do not actually cover the whole window, place looks very dirty and unkept, toilet actually had a huge crack in it, did not effect function but just doesnt look great for the public

Staff at motel friendly & helpful, rooms are dated but clean & comfortable, the 241 on the property has great pizza, panzerotti & wings

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms where clean and beds where comfy.

The price was low and the service was friendly. I had everything I needed for a night’s stay on a long drive from Edmonton to Toronto. Pleasant Stay
