Two of us stayed here en route to Norfolk. We weren’t hungry enough to eat in the restaurant, so went to the Sports Bar. Sadly we couldn’t talk for the first half hour due to a very noisy group of golfers. I enjoyed a Salmon Caesar Salad and my partner had a burger. Our room was nice.

There were really good parts to the 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf. The courses were nice and faired well considering the weather we have had this winter. We arrived and played the bank holiday on Monday. It was a shame that the green staff had not been on the course since Friday. Greens and tees needed cutting. Both courses have a great finishing hole. Pro's shop is really well stocked and all staff were very helpful.Rooms were very good, but be careful not to fall when walking on the marble floor in the bathroom! Breakfast was good, but the evening meal fell well below expectations. The chicken I had on the 1st night was dry. The pork chop on the second night was dry and tough. Toilets next to the golfers bar stank. We enjoyed ourselves but not as good as other places we have stayed.

Excellent two night stay with three rounds of golf. Hotel was excellent. Comfortable room with huge bed, good main bar and sports bar, very good restaurant with beautifully prepared food (breakfast and evening). Staff were friendly and attentive. Golf courses were recovering from post Spring maintenance, but were both interesting and challenging, with an array of wildlife on show. Overall, recommended. Will be returning next year.

Visited yesterday. Jasmin, on reception, is absolutely brilliant. Called last week to confirm, she asked if we were celebrating anything, I said yes a 21st a d a 50th. I thought she was being polite, however at dinner we were both given a lovely dessert with Happy Birthday in chocolate. She had obviously made a note on the call. She's a credit to your hotel, and you need to keep hold of her!!

Whilst the guys played golf we went off to the Spa. Was greeted by Kelly who looked after us so well and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She is a credit to your organisation. This is the second golf and spa visit and looking forward to our next visit. The rooms were comfortable and the food was lovely. A great stay.

Hotel side of things ok, though poor WiFi in rooms. Bar just very over priced £13 plus for glass of New Zealand SB ,£38 Bottle, Italian larger plus £8 pint and so many supplements on meals. Breakfast could be great if the eggs were refreshed and the bacon wasn’t covered in white scum. Pleasant staff, clean, good service so a lot is right.

Another visit to this lovely hotel. Whilst the guys played golf, us girls used the gym, had a spa treatment and relaxed with a lovely breakfast in the Sports Bar. Great staff there, and throughout the hotel. We met up in the swimming pool area and enjoyed a drink before getting ready for dinner. Rooms 117 & 118 are spacious and welcoming. Looking forward to our meal, we wandered to Lakes Restaurant. The service was outstanding (Hugo you have a great team) with advice for wine and food choices. The meal was exceptional, portion size perfect and taste was wonderful. Will definitely return.

We visited for a weekend with friends and everything was utterly perfect. The staff were super accommodating and just lovely, the food was so delicious and the room was one of the best (and biggest) I've ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like old friends even though this was our first visit. The room was perfect, with the hugest bed I've ever seen. Excellent hospitality tray, with a selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. The AC was very useful as the sun decided to put in an appearance that weekend and it was very warm. There were also wardrobes tall enough to hang dresses in, something I usually find lacking in most hotels. The food was everything you'd want it to be. Superb quality and large portions. Breakfast catered for everyone as there was a vast selection from do it yourself muesli, yoghurt, pastries, charcuterie, cheeses to the traditional full English. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
