We arrived after a mid haul flight to loud music, dirty bar floors, land lady shouting over the bar asking our details on our booking. Lead through several tatty doors to the dingiest, filthy carpeted, narrow stairway up to our room on the 1st floor.Bed was clean!! Bathroom clean but tiny. Windows covered in mould all around and paint all pealing off.Even considered staying in the lovely hotel next door ,The Coleshill Hotel where we had a couple of drinks before re entering ‘Bleak House’. By this t8me it was10pm and we decided to just sleep and leave early next morning to a superb breakfast next door. Wouldn’t not recommend this hotel to anyone and we are seasoned travellers who know decent value hotels, expensive hotels and mid range. This failed to fit into any range of hospitality !!!
