" Very close to  ATL airport.  Hotel has an airport shuttle leaving hotel every half hour for example 6, 6:30, 7, etc and picking up at airport approx. every 15 minutes after for example 6:15, 6:45, 7:15 etc.  Used the shuttle van both ways on flights in and out, made it easy if you use ATL airport - my biggest reason for this hotel.  Easy check in.  Clean room.  OK TV and channels, etc.  Large breakfast seating area with coffee and drinks all the time, and free breakfast starting at 6 am.  Good Mexican Food place right Nextdoor.  Not upscale, but solid , clean and a pretty good value.  I would not take a long vacation here, but a  good option for going in and out of airport and a quick stay."

"We had a late arrival and early departure at Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Easy to board the skytrain (light rail to ATL West parking garage and Rental Car Center), walk to the Tru about a block, and get some sleep before awakening at 4 am and heading back into the airport."

"The hotel is quite decent. If you are taking a taxi for an international flight, don't take the hotel's shuttle bus to the domestic passenger terminal. Although you can also check in, then go through security and take a small train to the international departure terminal. However, there are too many people on domestic flights and it is easy to be late. If you take the hotel shuttle bus, at least three hours in advance."

"This hotel was in a close distance from the airport. But the shuttle only leaves 1 time an hr. The 1st smoking room I was in had ashes on the bed and a cigarette hole burned in the sheet. Next after damn near an hour the finally get me moved into a non smoking room oh after I paid $40 for early check in. Next it was hair all in the tub and the ceiling yuck. The shuttle left as I was walking to the front desk when I asked about it I was told it will be back and ready to load around 1200pm. The guy did not come to the van until 1250pm. I will not be returning"

"I normally won't go out of my way to write a bad review. However, I had a bad experience with this hotel from the planning, arrival, and stay. When I thought it was over, I had to wait over half a month to receive a refund after being double charged. trip.com attempted to reach a manager, but the manager not being available whenever they called. I planned my work trip and communicated extensively with hotel staff to make them aware of my travel situation and I needed to make any changes to my original booking. I was told that everything would be ready for my arrival and there was no need to alter my original booking. I wanted that reassurance before my booking became "non-refundable". I called the day of my booking to remind them of my situation and I was told they were aware, and everything still looked good. On my morning arrival, I was told my booking had been canceled even though I had communicated with the hotel staff that night and they took my payment info for incidentals and also verified everything was still good for my arrival in the morning. My room was no longer available, I had no reservation, and I was also told I couldn't be put in a room that fit my necessities, because other reservations had priority over mine. I was not happy, but since I only had a couple of hours before my first work event, I needed to have a room and took what was available. The hotel attempted to make another reservation, but they made a mistake with my checkout date and had to call in between my free time to make sure I had a place to stay. Someone fixed it and apologized. Another pain point was that the breakfast area was not replenished. When I checked out, I noticed I got an invoice from the hotel which is standard. I went to my last conference day. It wasn't until later that day on my way home that I realized I had been charged again. This is where the most dreadful experience happened. I was fortunate and prepared enough to have everything documented and this made it easier for the internal communication between trip.com and this hotel to show that this was a mistake on the hotel. However, it still took many hours of calls, emails, and constant pushing to try and make sure I was refunded. Trip.com struggled for multiple days to be able to reach a manager and for that manager to finally approve the refund. This was my worst experience with any hotel I've ever had. As a customer who did their due diligence to prepare and communicate, it is frustrating when a business falls short and then fails to resolve the issues committed on their end in a reasonable and timely manner."

"Free shuttle from/to airport every 30 min. But staff didn’t count passengers to airport in early morning which should be peak time. I planned to take 5:30am one but didn’t get in due to bus full. I was told another bus will come in 10-15min. But it only came 6am. Staff explained it took time to get a bigger bus and finally all 6am group got in. Lucky that I still had enough time for domestic flight check-in"
