Ibis Budget Colmar Centre-Ville Reviews

The hotel is located near the city centre and is only a 13-minute walk to and from the station. However, due to the construction work, carrying large luggage might not be very convenient. The room was better than I expected, but the shower area was not very clean, with some hair found. Nevertheless, all the staff were very nice and friendly!

This hotel is suitable for couples staying 1-2 nights. We stayed with a child for 4 nights, which we regretted. I've stayed in several Ibis hotels, but this one has the tiniest rooms. The bathroom is split: the toilet is so small you can touch the walls with your shoulders, and the shower is a cubicle that opens directly into the main room. The sink is half a meter from the bed, and while there's supposed to be a curtain separating it, our room didn't have one. I can, however, praise the window – it has excellent soundproofing. Despite ongoing renovations outside, there's no noise. The location is convenient if you're exploring the old town, but it's easier to walk to the hotel from the train station (about 12-15 minutes) than to wait for a bus, as bus stops are 5-7 minutes away. There are two Carrefour supermarkets within a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Decent price, nice staff, and quite good location - easy walk to train station and the Little Venice. The room is very basic an quite small.

Location is about 10 - 15mins walk to the Central train station. So if you plan on traveling outside Colmar, this is a pretty good location. It is also around 10mins walk to the Little Venice canal and old town. So yeah, location is convenient. The room is basic; no kettle, no fridge, no toothbrush/sandal. But you pay for what you get anyway.

The room was clean, and the location was great, with the old town just a 10–15 minute walk away. I also appreciated that the check-out time was at 12:00. There was a water dispenser in the lobby as well, which was very convenient.

I love visiting Colmar. I’ve been to this hotel before so I knew that it would be a great visit. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The weather was rainy so having a bit of central heating in the room was appreciated

It wasn't a terrible stay. Standard.

The room was decent, about a fifteen-minute walk from the train station and a few minutes from the old town.

We got a baby crib, however they missed that we reserved a parking spot. Nonetheless, the hotel was quite nice and well located. They also have a microwave there

Comfortable stay, good location. Reach attractive places within short walking distance. But one thing is the bathroom too small

Great central location, you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was also good with good options to choose from. We especially loved the freshly baked pretzels. Would definitely stay here again.

Even though the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Overall a decent budget hotel. Room was clean although a bit small. Good location close to the centre. The hotel should offer free parking instead of charging for it.
