The hotel is quite central in Cologne. It also has probably given the possibility to breakfast directly in the hotel the reservation. My colleague has clearly ordered breakfast with, but he had to call it loudly next morning. After a long hard journey we had a pleasant enough checkin, but after having paid a lot extra for booking first class rooms, we were told that the first class lounge was closed. I asked what was the point in paying sky much more for first class rooms, and I was told the rooms have coffee machines. For the price difference I could have gone and bought coffee machines, but frankly I am not interested in a coffee machine, I paid for the rooms so we could use the lounge, so I felt ripped off. My room was boiling hot, and the air conditioning does not work. They sent someone to the room, but they could not get is below 26 degrees. They changed my room to a much smaller one, but it was a bit cooler. I came back to my room having left the aircon on all day and all evening. It was still very warm. I chose this hotel as it is described as air conditioned. It is not air conditioned at all. I could not sleep, it was too warm. I called reception and they brought me a fan. I am so disappointed to have not had what I expected, and most annoyingly the room was described as air conditioned when all it really has is a noisy fan. I should ask for partial refund for our two rooms, they were not worth the money. Then, the service at the bar was terrible. We ordered a round of drinks, it took more than half an hour to bring three beers. Not busy, just really slow.

The location is good, near cologne main train station and close to the river. it's very convenient. Rooms are big enough, but gyms kind of small. Hotel has is very big and like a shopping mall. I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast also good.

We were in the restaurant for coffee and cake, which was reasonably good but when we left after spending €32 we had to pay €5.40 for the hotel car par. We expected, the car park would’ve been free of charge in view of our consumption in the restaurant. Unfortunately there was no possibility to come to an agreement on a heylower , more adequate parking fee.

Das Airport Hotel Cologne liegt an der Autobahnausfahrt Troisdorf, ist gut zu erreichen und im Motelstyle. Die Entfernung zum Flughafen schnell zurück gelegt.Wir bekamen als Award Kunde ein Upgrade auf ein Buisnesszimmer, das war für eine Nacht ausreichend groß, hatte ein kleines, sauberes Bad.Check in und out schnell und einfach. Frühstück bekamen wir nicht, da wir schon um 4.30 Uhr das Hotel verlassen musst um zum Flughafen zu fahren.

Ich habe vom 28.02. auf den 01.03.23 in Zimmer 215 übernachtet. Der Checkin verlief schnell und freundlich. Leider erhielt ich die falsche Information bezüglich der Sauna- diese sollte bereits (15:30 Uhr) geöffnet sein. Als ich gegen kurz nach 17:00 Uhr in die Sauna wollte, heizte diese gerade erst auf. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern. Allerdings, bauartbedingt, sehr klein. Besonders das Badezimmer ist mini und bietet kaum Abstellflächen. Das WLAN ist recht stabil, stößt aber scheinbar Abends an seine Kapazitäten. Da dieses Zimmer zur Eingangsseite/ Straßenseite/ Parkplatzseite liegt, war es in den Morgenstunden recht laut - aber mit Ohropax konnte das Fenster geöffnet bleiben. An der Sauberkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Leider fehltem dem TV viele TV Programme. Der Fitness-/ Saunabereich wirkt dagegen etwas lieblos und ist zudem nicht voneinander getrennt. Insgesamt ist der Bereich etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Abendessen war leider eine Katastrophe. Ich bestellte die knusprige Maispoulardenbrust auf Kirschtomatengemüse und Rösti. Erhalten habe ich eine trockene Poularde, ohne Knusperhaut und fettigen Reibekuchen. Ich habe nur etwas von der Poularde gegessen und den Teller zurückgehen lassen. Dies wurde vom Service zwar entschuldigt- mehr aber auch nicht. Beim bezahlen wurde der volle Preis von €17,50 berechnet. Auf Nachfrage, ob das ernst gemeint sei, erhielt ich nur JA als Antwort. Da ich, als Platin-Member bei Hotmiles, regelmäßig in H Hotels übernachte, kann ich sagen, dass die Küchenleistung in Brühl bisher am schlechtesten aller von mir besuchten H Hotels ist. Es gab nicht einmal die sonst üblichen Brottaler mit Dipps. Das Frühstück entsprach dem typischen H Hotels Standard und war gut. Schade nur, dass die Säfte aus Konzentrat und Wasser bestehen. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder auswählen, allerdings einen großen Bogen um das Abendessen und den unkulanten Service dort machen.

The hotel is an easy walk (just a few minutes) from the railway station. It is about two minutes walk to the cathedral which you can see (and hear) from the hotel: the bells chime quite loudly at about 08:00 am and other times. Rooms are a decent size and the beds are very comfortable. It is clean and in the room there is a safe, tv, bathroom with a shower (that oddly has no shower curtain or screen - the floor gets quite wet). Breakfast is good and includes the normal range of hot and cold foods from croissants, toast, bacon, egg, sausage, buns, cereals, hams, salamis, cheeses, coffee, tea, hot water and some really very nice fruit juices (some of the nicest I have tasted in a hotel). The staff in the dining area were really pleasant and friendly. The reception staff were a little more varied but polite and efficient enough. Outside the hotel doesn't look that much but it is generally pleasant and a great base inside. Next door are some convenience store types of shops and a kebab house that I tried and it was exactly the same as back home. McDonalds is just across the road, if that is your thing. We walked to all of the Christmas markets (where we did most of our eating) and around the city centre and down to the Rhine. All are in easy walking distance. There is a bag room where you can leave your bags upon checkout and come back for them later. The security of that was a little lax as people just walked in from the street and took their bags. I went to the reception and told them I was taking mine and the lady looked as if to say, ”ok fine.” No checks. There is also little checking of people walking in from the street and just going upstairs but the doors on the rooms were pretty secure. The lighting is not great in the room and the lights around the hotel are seemingly hanging from their connections. Overall it was a great base from which to explore the city and get to and from. good night's sleep - despite the bells and a good breakfast. I would stay again for a short break in the city.

The hotel is located beside the train station. There are many restaurants nearby and the cathedral is not too far away. The staffs were a little weird. They tried to be funny but maybe something was lost in translation and made us feeling uncomfortable. One of the staffs didn’t understand our question in English, but instead of trying to understand our question, she insisted her answer which left us more confused. Another staff completely ignored us when we were trying to talk to him because he was “busy” doing something else behind the desk although he made a lot of uncomfortable jokes at the beginning.
