B&B HOTEL Köln-Messe

Firebrigade on the other side of the street so a lot of sirens. Woman at the reception was not very helpfull with information to get to the center of town.

We were booked in for 2 nights but checked out after 1! The room was dirty, it had stains on the walls and carpet. Bathroom sink plug did not release, so sink was full of water which we could not drain. Reported to staff who said they would come and look at but they never did. TV did not work - sound fine but no picture Mould in shower was awful Hairdryer was rusty Car parking onsite was ok, providing you can get a space We walked in to Cologne old town which took about 30 minutes but their are public transport options available Overall, would not stay again due to cleanliness of property. Hotel have agreed to refund us for the 1 night - awaiting for this to appear!

Our stay was wonderful. My kids loved their bed.

it is a budget hotel and that is what you are getting, Nothing more, nothing less. Better spend a few euro more on a hotel and stay somewhere else. Breakfast is minimum, with a minimum choice of food..

A nice and basic accommodations rooms are clean and fresh. All what you need for one night stay when vist the Christmas markets in Cologne. The hotel is quite and of a good distance from the city center. Breakfast is very basic but oké missed the stumble eggs and the bacon. Price /quality rate is good. Parking is available but the area is to small. We recommend this place for this purpose

The hotel was 10 min walk to station. The room was very very small that we coukd not put our carry on suitcases. No table. No coffe. Not even a bottle of water. The staff was kind and nice. But the hotel itself not a welcoming hotel. The beds were clean but not comfortable. The washroom was smelly. Clean towels but small shower. Next time I'll find a better place. Not B&B

It is very nice hotel and it has a parking lot so that was great!

Terrible experience at this hotel. No hot water on the first morning, took cold showers. Asked at the desk about it on our way out, and the desk agent pretended not to know anything about it, but that he would check and follow up with us. Returned that night, no follow up, so assumed all was fixed. 2nd morning, still no hot water. Enquired at the desk again, this time they acknowledged that the whole building had no hot water for the 2nd day. Desk agent promised follow up again, that management was discussing compensation. Pointed out that no one followed up yesterday, but was assured that he would. Returned that evening to no follow up from anyone again. At check out, asked what the resolution would be, agent didn't know we had any problem. When asked about the lack of hot water for 2 full days, the agent said we should have spoken to them at the time!!! I explained that we had, but he again could do nothing and promised a follow up by email from the hotel manager. Needless to say, that follow up never came again! I emailed their head office about what was going on with the problems at the hotel, and the complete failure of customer service. They replied to me that they were pleased there was a "quick solution" of the problem!!! They didn't feel that there was any call for compensation for either the lack of hot water, or the hotels response!! They begrudgingly offered a €20 voucher toward a future stay! Lol. They clearly need that €20 more than me, they can keep it!! Find a different hotel to stay, the B&B clearly feels that the new Customer Service is No Service.
