Morven Hotel Colombo

Strategic location in the city center. Regarding cleanliness, there were dirty stains on the pillow and mattress. No sanitary kit was provided. The view of the sea was nice.

I booked an ocean view room, but got a different one. When I checked with the front desk, they changed it for me immediately. It might be normal for Colombo, but it was a pity there was no fridge. All in all, though, it was a good hotel.

Good hotel for a couple of days before or after a flight. Dinners and breakfasts are quite decent, with a good variety. There are shops and shopping centers nearby.

Room: The room is fully equipped and spacious, with an open view. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Plus, there's room service available, so you can still get food even if you arrive late. Facilities: There's a stunning 'heavenly' pool, and a chain coffee shop conveniently located next to the hotel. Service: The front desk staff are friendly and polite.

This hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing in Colombo. You can see the sea from the room and walk to watch the trains run along the coast. There was no hairdryer, so I called the front desk to have one brought up, but they gave me one that seemed to be for wall mounting, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, there was no refrigerator.
