Holiday Inn Express & Suites COLORADO SPRINGS CENTRAL by IHG

This hotel has many rooms that face the 6-lane Interstate highway (I25) and the noise level in these rooms is unbearable at night with 18-wheelers etc. zooming by all night. You cannot sleep, even with the good earplugs I brought. You should get a clue when the check-in person at the desk offers ear plugs to you. Never had that happen in any other hotel I've ever been in. You stand a better chance of being able to sleep if you book a room on the front mountain view rooms. The breakfasts were adequate. Excellent location. Easy access to highway, and also to attractions. We could take an early morning trip to Garden of Gods, and the hotel location was very convenient for this. People at the front desk were very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast spread was very nice. Room was clean and conveneint.

Food and staff are great! Definitely recommended.

Good location

All the staff were really friendly. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. The room was different than what I booked, but it still had a mountain view. The breakfast was standard and the pork sausages were the best part of it. The only negative I have about the hotel is that the surrounding area didn’t feel too safe. Inside the hotel was perfectly fine, but once you go outside there are many homeless people around the property. One even approached us as we were outside.

The hotel was fine, the staff was pleasant and the room had everything i needed and it was ckean. What I don' like is ******* asking for reviews all the time.

I’m going to start by saying I chose this hotel because I had stayed here before wih no issues. However, this time wasn’t as smooth. At first when I got there I was supposed to have a Mountain View which I reserved and paid for. That wasn’t the case, then I realized the AC unit in the room was not working, it wouldn’t even turn on. I contacted the hotel customer service lobby and was told the repairman would not be able to come at night I would have to wait until the next day. I asked to please find a solution as I couldn’t sleep in a hot room with my teen. They couldn’t accommodate my Mountain View request but luckily I was able to be transferred to another room with working AC at 12:30 am. At that point I didn’t even care to complain about the Mountain View as it was now two problems instead of one and I had flown 5 hours traveling all day to get there. Kind of disappointed,
