Hilton Columbia Center

The hotel room was good and quiet. Only thing what was not Ok, thery didn't make up my room. Maybe forgotten, but I was coming back to the room in the evening, so no chance to get it.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay again.

Bathroom needs upgrade. Tile in shower needs replacement and repairs. Dirty around base where shower door track is. Bed is not comfortable. Hallways are old looking. Only 1 of 3 elevators were in service during our stay. Overall the hotel needs an update. Front desk staff was friendly helpful and courteous. Bathroom sink was cracked. On the 8th floor there was a continuous machine wiring sound all the time. Sounded like maybe the AC units on the roof.

super easy to park, breezy entrance, great pool, clean rooms & bathrooms equipped with makeup wipes that came in handy. the integration of the digital key made our stay 100x easier, including use to leave the parking garage and to go directly to the room. very convenient location, restaurants & nightlife (& daytime activities) are footsteps away.

The bathroom was disgusting! Notified front desk and nothing was done! The overall room was not clean at all!

The front desk staff. The young girls working were extremely rude and wouldnt let me finish a sentence. I had two separate reservations and asked prior to my visit if I could stay in the same room for both. I was told yes, that wouldn’t be a problem. Once I got there, I confirmed again about staying in the same room and was again told yes. The next morning when I went to check out and check back in, the girls at the front told me I couldn’t because that room was promised to someone else and I would have to pack my things and move. I informed them politely that I was told twice that I could stay in my same room and even gave them the names of who I spoke with. They kept rolling their eyes and wouldn’t let me finish my sentence until I asked for a manager to help. Once the manager came and fixed the issue, I asked a few more questions, which I was ignored and when I was handed my keys, I thanked them for their help and they said nothing, complete silence. They were disrespectful and rude. I would have given 4 stars if it hadn’t been for them.

My entire reason for staying at the Hilton was because you advertised having a shuttle service to CAE. When I arrived the male reception representative said “what shuttle, there is no shuttle”. I explained it was on ******* . “Oh, we don’t”, I was told. No apology, or saying the need to rectify the problem or calling a supervisor to alert them of this issue. So instead of making things easier for my husband, I had to ask him to drive back to Columbia from Aiken at 2:30AM as my flight was at 5:30am. The male rep was absolutely unhelpful. The gal that was there tried to help with arranging an Uber, but since they were not reliable I had to ask my husband.

Check-in was easy; parking was convenient to the lobby, albeit expensive for the duration of our stay and length of time spent in the parking deck. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were dilapidated and provided zero support. The mattress was lumpy. The linens were clean, and we appreciated the amenities--coffeemaker, refrigerator, in-room safe. Breakfast was too expensive for our stay.

The lady at the front desk was so welcoming. The hotel is in close proximity to many restaurants. We were able to watch a fabulous firework show on the statehouse grounds from the window in our room.
