We booked one of the cabins at Noah’s Ark Campground in Revelstoke as a simple overnight stop on our way to Vancouver Island. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, the cabin door was unlocked and slightly open, which left us concerned about bugs and spiders getting inside. We also discovered that bedding was an extra charge, something we hadn’t realized until after paying for our non-refundable stay. The washrooms located near the cabins were completely out of service and appeared dirty and neglected. To use the shower facilities, we would have had to walk a fair distance downhill to a separate public washroom area, which was very inconvenient. After taking a look inside the cabin and seeing the condition of the nearby facilities, we decided not to stay. We didn’t ask for a refund and simply left, but I feel it’s important to warn others. If you are considering staying here, I would strongly recommend avoiding the cabins and looking elsewhere. Had it been possible, I would have given zero stars.

Stayed once before. It was great. Stayed once again. And it was still great. Tenting both times. Roxanna was so accommodating! They made sure our family was comfortable, had accessiblity and put us up in the best spot of the area! My mother walks with a cane, they let us stay beside the main area. Thoughtful and welcoming. I would recommend and would stay again!

Stay away from here. Drove through and left immediately. Lots of full timers packed like sardines, narrow spaces and major yard work being done so the place looks like a construction site not a camp ground. Read the fine print carefully as they nail your for 30% of the fee if you cancel (even weeks ahead of time). Place have me the creeps just driving through.

The website lies none of the amenities as described exist. We did have WiFi and the washrooms were fine but this did not make up for the deplorable state of the site absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Do not stay here until massive changes are made. Photos of the kitchen and the bags of rubbish by reception illustrate the appalling state of affairs

Arrived late as travelling on August 3rd and put a few things in the RV and sat outside with my family. We could smell a strong odour of sewer but were unsure of where it was coming from. Went into the unit a while later so realize we could smell the odour strongly the unit as well. We ran the water flush the toilets odour did not dissipate. I called the desk which was then closed and I was instructed not to use the washroom( shower was also leaking) that there was not much they could do. I indicated the shower was not really my concern it was the smell of sewer as I had my pregnant daughter along for the trip as well. Again was told not much they could do. After giving it some thought we decided that due to the strong sewer smell that we would not sleep in the unit. We emptied our vehicles and slept in them .My daughter her husband and dog crammed into theirs my friend and I in hers. Upon departing the resort I again reported all these issues to the same gentleman I had spoken to the day before who advised that he would have the owner contact me. That did not happen. I made many more attempts to contact via telephone and email that were not returned. I filed a report with the BBB that they rejected saying no other issues reported with the unit but I have seen other complains for the same unit. No care or concern for the substandard conditions that the units are in and are happy to collect over $230 for a RV that could not be used.

I waited over a week before posting a review in hopes that the owner would do the right thing. My husband, baby and I had a pretty bad stay in trailer #8. It was just over $170 to rent for a night. We got in to the trailer and could smell an awful odour. I should have looked around better but I had to feed my baby. I used some Lysol wipes and sniffed around… could smell sewer outside, inside and overall just a gross smell. It started getting late so we set up. The outlets in the kitchen didn’t work… we wanted to set up our bottle warmer and coffee pot. We called a staff member to come help us with the outlets… he came in the trailer and pretty much said sorry can’t help you. So we put the coffee pot and bottle warmer in to the bedroom… Husband went to go for a shower and there was no water pressure. I did dishes with no water pressure.. At this point we are pretty bummed out. Around 1am my husband wakes up abruptly and said ok this bed smells. We ripped the sheets up to discover it had massive pee stains and my husband smelled like someone’s pee… we were so upset we stayed up all night and left at 6am. One of the staff members apologized and admitted to smelling the pee in text!! I’ve been trying to contact the owner all week… and nothing. I called back today to be greeted by a very rude women saying I’ve made this all up and they were in there the same day and I’m lying. Ok then… here’s the photos and the text from the staff member. Real professional guys. Also how disgusting?!?! especially cause they clearly haven’t removed or cleaned the mattress since!!! Unbelievable…

My boyfriend and I stayed at the "Revelstoke Cabin" for 2 nights and we both absolutely just loved it. It was clean and it had a mini fridge, microwave, a heater and an electric fireplace in the room. Location is perfect and the staff were very kind. We will definitely come stay here again!

This is a very, very unusual place. Apparently the owners think that Noah's Ark was an actual real thing, and there is an ark reproduction here where the owner lives. That's right! The elephants, penguins, giraffes, all the insects, polar bears, eagles, all the snakes, rhinoceroses, dogs, cats, rodents, tigers, leopards, monkeys, and gorillas all rode in the ark. This campground (which is what it actually is) is packed to high density. The biggest joke is the so-called morning breakfast/coffee. I still laugh when I think about the poor chap whom I saw sadly poking around the "breakfast" tables in the morning. He shook his head and walked away. The only reason we stayed here is because it was cheaper than anything else here. Oh, and you're out on the highway, with absolutely nothing around.
