Allegro Isora

This is by far the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. The room was filthy on arrival with blood stained pillows, sticky residue on the patio table, dirt and stains in the bathroom and balcony. The balcony had broken glass panels, the hot water tap in the bathroom didn’t work. The taps were coated in limescale. We asked every day for a different room and were refused until 15 hours before check out. The room wasn’t cleaned once during our stay despite us asking every single day. The “restaurant” is at best, a soup kitchen…the food is dire. Hot food is almost cold, the fruit was manky, the coffee was cold and there was cross contamination. The dining room has a foot wide grid running the full length of it which emits a foul stench of stagnant water. The ‘entertainment’ room looks like a crèche with a poor excuse of a bar. The cocktails were poured from a carton into a plastic, nibbled beaker. The outside area was filthy with cigarette butts littered around. Obviously, we complained and the Jet2 rep was also complaining on our behalf but still nothing was done. The guest relations manager, Laura, said that her maintenance and housekeeping team had informed her that they had carried out all repairs and cleaned the room…they didn’t. I asked her to inspect our room….she refused. On returning to the room on our last night around 9pm, we found a card from reception stating that they had a room for us to move into. We were checking out the following morning!!! However, in the main room, in our absence they had installed a baby cot…. I rang reception and was informed that it had been put there for the guests moving in the next day!!! I am astonished at the amount of good reviews that this place has because I have never encountered such abject filth and squalor in any accommodation that I have stayed in. The staff were rude, uninterested and uncaring. Needless to say that I am currently working with ABTA to obtain a full refund.

We stayed last week in February. We try and avoid half term as we like less children in the resort. We were in block C it was a bit out the way and was an OK room. It was clean and the cleaner called everyday. Bed Linen was good and lovely pillows. Aircon worked in lounge. It did seem a bit weak but in February it was adequate. There was a fan in main bedroom that we had difficulty keeping g oing on at night. Again it didn’t make any difference to our holiday. The apartment was clean. If a little tired. The pipes in the bathroom were a bit rusty and the net curtains were a little of the rail. The electric fitting behind the TV was loose and could be seen under the tv. All this did not spoil our holiday but gave an overall impression of needing a bit of T & C. We have been 4 times to this hotel and we like it. (2 older people). Now the good stuff. The food was very good this time. Lots of choice. Sometimes a bit cold but I always microwave mine. The only disappoint is they have again decided to shut the pool bar at 6pm. It was much nicer when they opened it later. The chairs in the main bar are a bit uncomfortable and it lacks atmosphere with 3 large TV’s in there it’s more for sports fans not people on holiday. We sat by the middle pool and had plenty of space and sun beds with umbrellas. The heated pool was full though. The staff are friendly. This resort is about 90 mins from the airport but we don’t mind that. We are coming back in December so we must like it.

How to even start this review ? First impression wasn’t bad to be fair , but after we got our room everything went down a hill… room was dirty with lizards and cockroaches enjoying our company. They have changed our room eventually , but same thing again … Worst holiday ever!!!!!!!!

Really good family hotel. Plenty of space and sun loungers no need for sun lounger wars 😂! Pools and surrounding areas are kept very clean and tidy. We found the main pool in the middle better as it’s closer to the snack bar, and all day time activities happened there. The kids pool with the slide is also good. Snack bar and drinks - good options for adult and kids. Nuggets, hotdogs, chips, burgers, salads and cooked meats. Self serve fizzy drinks, hot drinks and beer on tap. Slushies/ juice/ Spirits available at the bar. Main restaurant- same as above good variety of food for adults and children. Room - good size and good size balcony fresh bedding/ towels everyday. Only downside bugs in the room on arrival and floors never swept. Bathroom I need of a refresh. Entertainment - really good kids disco followed by shows ever evening. Beach only 10 minute walk away. Tip if you are leaving later than checkout time (12) then you need to pre book a shower room which is available. Do this early as we tried to do this at 10am on the day we were leaving and told most slots already booked. Would I come again 100% all round very good family hotel 👌🏻!

Just returned from a weeks stay here with children aged 5 and 11. We had a lovely time and most of the staff were absolutely amazing. Really taking the time out to talk to the kids and high five them etc. themed nights in the buffet where they dress up and even had a Mexican band serenading whilst you ate on Mexican night. The only downside to this hotel is that the pools weren’t heated and in May, it meant we were absolutely freezing in them and couldn’t stay in it long and on a cloudy, cooler day, didn’t go in at all. 5 year old could manage 10 mins at a time and came out shivering. Pools were lovely though and has a choice of a quiet one at the top, main one in the middle with all the activities such as pool parties (great fun) and games and another pool with a slide and kids paddle pool although we found we could smell the drains by this pool and didn’t enjoy- main one was great. Cleaned daily and sun beds hosed down etc. food was hit and miss but then I believe all inclusive always is and you get what you pay for! Worth booking on the Bbq at least once, kids enjoyed this a lot. Room was fine, comfy beds and plenty of room. Bathrooms a bit dated and not as clean as I’d like but absolutely fine and cleaned daily if you’d like. If this hotel was in a better location I’d defo make it a regular but too quiet and far out for us. If your the type that don’t leave the hotel at all, it’s perfect but we like to venture out. Small black sandy beach nearby but water isn’t very safe for little ones, strong powerful waves and rocky. We did the trip to Siam waterpark which is defo worth the money. Entertainment team where fantastic, really put some effort in and always something going on for the little ones. Pool party was a real wow factor, live band playing party songs, foam cannon and dancing. Adults enjoyed it more than the kids! Night entertainment is randomly behind the hotel a bit out the way but does have a bar and play area. Bar area inside is a bit rubbish and could do with some TLC but selection of drinks not too bad, plenty of self serve areas for beer and soft drinks and some days they were making jugs of sangria and walking about handing you them by the pool and did tasting events etc- really nice little touches. On our last day we flew late and couldn’t keep our room after 12 but they did provide another room where we could shower and get ready which was great. Thanks for a lovely, peaceful family holiday

I have stayed here a number of times before and love it. Great staff, good food and spotless rooms with very comfy beds. It's not really suitable for people with walking difficulties but buses are frequent and stop just outside the hotel. There is a taxi rank nearby. There is a good supermarket within 100 metres and couple of bars/restaurants close by. I recommend The View, just across the road. Watch a sunset and you'll know why they call it, The View. The hotel is not in a lively area but a good base to explore. Totally recommended.

I have just spent a very enjoyable week in Allegro Isora, 20th-27th Nov 23. The staff are all very helpful and the bedrooms are spotless. The selection of food in the Restaurant (self service) was amazing. I am vegetarian so there was plenty of delicious salads, veg and fish dishes on display. Lots of meat dishes for the meat eaters too! The three swimming pools are fabulous and the water games for children kept them well entertained. I enjoyed the aqua aerobics class and looked forward to the exercise every day! All in all a great family holiday and we have returned home feeling fit and relaxed. Hope to return to Allegro Isora in 2024.

Very well catered for throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Gerardo in the restaurant was fantastic and looked after us, especially considering my daughter had a peanut allergy. He was fantastic and we were very reassured and catered for.
