The hot thing about this place were the location (right close to downtown and the historical part, with walkable distances everywhere) and the price (pretty affordable when compared to other options). The check in was also pretty easy to go through and fast, something that worked for us as we got into the hotel quite late (after 11pm). There was no real person there, though. The downside: 1. I visited during the second week of December and, though really cold outside, they just turned the heat on twice a day. I felt cold and couldn't sleep that well. 2. We were given a facing-the-street room without any sound blocking, so I could hear the cars and people talking, waking me up a few times. Also, there's internal sound blocking as well--you will hear TVs and other sounds from people. So the quality of sleep was really put into question here. 3. The room was just ok--not as you see in the pictures, but with older painting and decoration 4. The mattress was not comfortable, a little used, not providing good sleep quality If you're really short on budget and don't mind other people's sounds and external sounds, this might be a place for you. I will not go back to it.
