LA Crystal Hotel

I was a bit worried because there weren't any Japanese families staying here and the location didn't seem the safest, but everything turned out fine. It's a bit far from Hollywood and Downtown, but it was less than a $20 Uber ride from the Harbor Gateway Transit Center (where you catch the Dodger Stadium Express), and there weren't long lines like at Union Station. So, if watching the Dodgers is your main goal, I highly recommend it! The building itself is old, but the rooms have been renovated and were very clean. Given the high prices in America, it was very reasonably priced and even included free breakfast – fantastic! There's also a Target and Ross Dress for Less nearby, perfect for souvenir shopping. I'll definitely use this place again!

The room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They spoke both Chinese and English. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options. The only downside was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

Huge thanks to the housekeeper who cleaned room 225 on June 19th! I forgot my charger and cable, and they actually chased after me to return them 👍👍 The hotel's location is far from the city center, making it ideal for self-driving travelers. There are plenty of parking spaces, though many outdoor spots are quite a distance from the lobby entrance. Hygiene seemed fine, and having two complimentary bottles of water daily is a rarity in the US. The front desk is actually open 24 hours, not just until midnight as stated on Trip.com. As other reviews mentioned, the Wi-Fi is really poor; it constantly disconnects and requires reconnection. The room itself is very spacious and offers excellent value for money.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and odor-free, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, truly the best I've had at an American budget hotel. Parking was convenient, and the facilities were comprehensive. It's a great choice for a stay in Los Angeles.

The hotel is about 27 kilometers from Los Angeles Airport, a taxi ride of less than half an hour. It seems to be a Chinese-owned hotel, and check-out is at 12 PM. Breakfast is served until 10 AM. The surrounding area is convenient with a Target supermarket, McDonald's, Panda Express, and Ross, making shopping easy. The room facilities are a bit old, but it's clean. The value for money is decent.
